JOUW ROL Bij CEVA Logistics zijn wij op zoek naar een Project Engineer voor de Benelux. In deze functie speel je een essentiële rol bij de inrichting van warehouses. Door jouw inzicht en analytisch vermogen weet je klantwensen te vertalen naar praktische, efficiënte oplossingen op de werkvloer. Daarnaast richt je je op het continu verbeteren van processen, procedures en systemen van onze logistieke operaties. Met jouw inzet en expertise lever je een waardevolle bijdrage aan het succes van onze projecten en aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze dienstverlening! Als Project Engineer werk je projectmatig binnen de gehele Benelux. Binnen het project, onder leiding van een Projectmanager, ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie, uitvoering en voortgang van de implementatie of optimalisatie van logistieke processen. Dit doe je in samenwerking met een team van lokale en regionale engineers, operations managers en supervisors. Je hebt daarom intensief contact met vele lagen binnen onze organisatie. Daarbij maak je gebruik van de lean-methodologie en onderzoek je de toepasbaarheid van innovatieve oplossingen. De projecten waaraan je bijdraagt zijn zeer divers. Daarnaast krijg je de mogelijkheid om zelfstandig verbeter- en implementatieprojecten te coördineren. Enkele voorbeelden van projecten waar je verantwoordelijk voor kunt zijn: - Het vertalen van analyses en oplossingen naar gedetailleerde voorstellen voor (nieuwe) procedures en processen of aanpassingen in (informatie)systemen; - Implementaties voor nieuwe klanten in bestaande of nieuwe locaties, waarbij je verantwoordelijk bent voor de lay-out, het warehouseontwerp en de inrichting van processen; - Innovat...
