Je onderzoekt technische oplossingen, voert engineering uit en werkt samen met multidisciplinaire teams om upgrades en aanpassingen aan jachten te realiseren. Zo draag je bij aan unieke projecten binnen de top van de superjachtbouw. Wat ga je doen? Als Project Engineer Jachtbouw werk je aan de engineering van refit- en serviceprojecten voor luxe Feadship superjachten. Je vertaalt technische vraagstukken naar concrete oplossingen en zorgt dat engineering, uitvoering en planning goed op elkaar aansluiten. Daarbij speel je een belangrijke rol in het voorbereiden en uitwerken van technische aanpassingen aan bestaande jachten. Je begint je dag vaak met een overleg met collega's uit engineering, projectmanagement en productie. Samen bespreken jullie de voortgang van lopende projecten, technische uitdagingen en eventuele wijzigingen in het ontwerp. Vervolgens ga je aan de slag met het analyseren van technische documentatie en het uitwerken van oplossingen voor refit- en upgradeprojecten. In deze rol werk je aan verschillende aanpassingen aan bestaande jachten. Denk aan technische upgrades, onderhoudsprojecten of verbeteringen aan systemen aan boord. Je onderzoekt de haalbaarheid van oplossingen, werkt ontwerpen verder uit en stemt deze af met verschillende disciplines binnen het projectteam. Wat deze functie bijzonder maakt, is dat elk project uniek is. Je werkt samen met engineers, projectleiders en specialisten om complexe technische vraagstukken op te lossen.
