The posting

De organisatie ontwikkelt innovatieve coatinginstallaties en machines voor toepassingen binnen onder andere energiezuinig glas, displays, zonnepanelen en dunne-filmbatterijen. Het gaat om technologisch complexe projecten waarin mechanica, automatisatie, software en procesengineering samenkomen.

Voor een internationale hightech machinebouwer in regio Dentergem zoeken we een Project Engineer die technische projecten wereldwijd mee uitwerkt en coordineert.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

Als Project Engineer combineer je technische uitwerking met projectcoordinatie. Je werkt verschillende internationale projecten parallel uit en zorgt ervoor dat ze technisch, organisatorisch en financieel correct worden voorbereid.

  • Je organiseert en coordineert meerdere internationale projecten tegelijk
  • Je bewaakt technische scope, budget, planning, veiligheid en kwaliteit
  • Je werkt zelfstandig projectvoorstellen uit
  • Je maakt gedetailleerde projectontwerpen en technische specificaties
  • Je bepaalt projectstappen, timings, kosten en technische voordelen
  • Je zorgt dat engineering, aankoop en productie over alle nodige technische informatie beschikken
  • Je stemt nauw af met Sales, Design, Purchasing, R&D en Operations
  • Je ondersteunt productie bij een optimale voorbereiding van de installatie
  • Je volgt technische wijzigingen en risico's tijdens het project op
  • Je ondersteunt de start-up en commissioning bij internationale klanten
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Project Manager

Het is dus geen pure designfunctie, maar ook geen klassieke Project Manager-rol. Je blijft zelf technisch betrokken bij de uitwerking van projecten, terwijl je tegelijk verantwoordelijkheid krijgt over planning, coordinatie en realisatie.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je beschikt over een Master Elektromechanica of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen machinebouw, engineering of technische projecten
  • Je combineert sterke technische kennis met projectmatig inzicht
  • Je kunt zelfstandig technische voorstellen en specificaties uitwerken
  • Je bent sterk in planning, organisatie en opvolging
  • Je werkt graag multidisciplinair met engineering, productie, aankoop en R&D
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en/of Engels
  • Je bent analytisch, zelfstandig en oplossingsgericht
  • Je kunt meerdere projecten tegelijk beheren zonder het overzicht te verliezen
  • Je bent bereid om meer dan 30% internationaal te reizen, zowel voor korte als langere opdrachten
