The posting

In deze rol neem je end-to-end ownership over CAPEX-projecten met een typisch budget van €3–4 miljoen. De focus ligt op process en industrieel equipment: pumps, valves/ventielen, kleppen, warmtewisselaars, instrumentatie en piping. Je stuurt projecten aan van concept en engineering tot bestelling, uitvoering en oplevering—met directe impact op timing, kwaliteit en klanttevredenheid.

Extra plus: je krijgt veel vrijheid in hoe je je week organiseert: een sterke mix van thuiswerk en kantoorwerk (afgestemd op projectnoden en overlegmomenten).

Functieomschrijving 1) Process engineering vanaf nul

  • P&ID opstarten from scratch en iteratief uitwerken met stakeholders
  • Opstellen van scope description en functionele beschrijving
  • Definiëren van procesoplossingen rond pumps, kleppen/valves, ventielen, warmtewisselaars en instrumentation
  • Uitwerken van piping-concepten en afstemming met uitvoering/constructie
  • Opstellen van equipment list (incl. datasheets waar nodig) en bewaken van technische keuzes

2) Project management (engineering → procurement → uitvoering)

  • Probleemanalyse van klantvraag o.b.v. RFO/RFQ en beschikbare input
  • Maken van een duidelijke projectaanpak: planning, deliverables, risico’s en kostraming
  • Offertes opvragen, technisch/financieel vergelijken en aanbevelingen formuleren
  • Bestellen van equipment en opvolgen van levertermijnen via project management software
  • Bewaken van scope, timing, kwaliteit en budget (uren + materialen)

3) Samenwerken in een multidisciplinair team

  • Werken in team met multidisciplinaire ingenieurs (process, mechanical, piping, E&I, automation, …)
  • Afstemmen met constructie/werf voor briefings, werkvoorbereiding en planning
  • Heldere communicatie naar klant: deliverables zoals P&ID’s, 3D, en projectplanning
  • Organiseren van opvolgmeetings en beslissingen documenteren

4) Oplevering, kwalificaties en afsluit

  • Opstellen en opvolgen van snag/punch list
  • Documentatie en sign-off per fase, afhankelijk van projectcontext: Installatie conform ontwerp, I/O testing, etc. Functionele tests, water-/druktests, etc. Performance t.o.v. target parameters (flows, druk, verliezen, …)
  • Reporting & nacalculatie waar nodig + lessons learned met het team
  • Master in een technische richting (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
  • Ervaring als project manager binnen industriële process-omgevingen
  • Sterke basis in vloeistofprocessen en equipment: pumps, valves/ventielen, kleppen, warmtewisselaars, instrumentatie
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, prioriteiten zetten en stakeholders meenemen met duidelijke communicatie
  • Je voelt je comfortabel in een rol die zowel engineering als project management combineert
