The posting

Voor een technisch gedreven organisatie actief in de ontwikkeling en realisatie van maatwerkoplossingen zoeken we een Freelance Project Engineer Machinebouw.

Je neemt projecten zelfstandig op vanaf de eerste technische analyse tot en met de finale uitvoering. Daarbij combineer je projectcoördinatie, 3D-ontwerp en klantgericht technisch advies. Het gaat om een gevarieerde freelance opdracht van minstens één jaar, met een sterke betrokkenheid bij zowel engineering als realisatie.

Functieomschrijving

  • Analyseren van technische behoeften en projectvragen bij klanten
  • Uitwerken van praktische en technisch haalbare oplossingen
  • Bespreken en verfijnen van concepten met klanten en interne specialisten
  • Opstellen van technische calculaties en offertes in samenwerking met calculatie
  • Uitvoeren van technische opmetingen op locatie
  • Ontwerpen en uittekenen van machines, installaties en lay-outs in 3D
  • Coördineren van interne en externe tekenaars en ontwerpers
  • Opvolgen van projecten op het vlak van planning, budget, kwaliteit en uitvoering
  • Afstemmen met klanten, leveranciers, productie en engineering
  • Bewaken van de technische scope en bijsturen waar nodig
  • Begeleiden van het project tot en met oplevering en ingebruikname
  • Bachelor of master in elektromechanica, industrieel ontwerpen, werktuigbouwkunde of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Ervaring als Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Projectleider of Mechanical Designer
  • Sterke interesse in machinebouw en maatwerkconstructies
  • Ervaring met 3D-ontwerpsoftware
  • In staat om technische vraagstukken om te zetten in eenvoudige en praktische oplossingen
  • Hands-on ingesteld en betrokken bij zowel engineering als uitvoering
  • Sterk in communicatie, planning en projectopvolging
  • Voldoende commerciële feeling om technische oplossingen met klanten te bespreken
  • Affiniteit met voedingsproductie, procesinstallaties, landbouw of tuinbouw is een pluspunt
