Starapple QA Engineer Amsterdam Organisatie & Afdeling Voor een groeiende technologieorganisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een Medior QA Engineer die een belangrijke bijdrage wil leveren aan de kwaliteit van een eigen softwareplatform. De organisatie ontwikkelt digitale oplossingen waarmee klanten verschillende operationele en administratieve processen kunnen beheren en automatiseren. De software wordt volledig in eigen beheer ontwikkeld en bestaat uit een uitgebreid webbased platform met verschillende functionaliteiten, gebruikersstromen en koppelingen met externe systemen. Door de verdere ontwikkeling van het platform worden nieuwe functionaliteiten toegevoegd en bestaande onderdelen continu verbeterd. Hierdoor neemt ook het belang van kwaliteit, stabiliteit en gebruiksvriendelijkheid verder toe. Je komt terecht in een compact technisch team met software developers en QA. Binnen het team wordt nauw samengewerkt en krijg je veel mee van het volledige ontwikkelproces: van nieuwe requirements en development tot testen, oplevering en verdere optimalisatie. De organisatie kenmerkt zich door een informele en nuchtere werksfeer. De lijnen zijn kort en er is veel ruimte om zelfstandig te werken en verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Tegelijkertijd wordt er veel samengewerkt en vinden collega's het belangrijk om elkaar te helpen. Er wordt hybride gewerkt, waardoor je werkzaamheden zowel vanuit huis als op locatie kunt uitvoeren. Functie Als Medior QA Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken en verbeteren van de kwaliteit van het softwareplatform. Je kijkt daarbij verder dan alleen controleren of een functionaliteit technisch werkt. Je denkt vanuit de gebruiker, onderzoekt verschillende scenario's en probeert juist de situaties te vinden waarin software niet doet wat ervan wordt verwacht.
