Als Quality Engineer werk je aan sterkere kwaliteitsprocessen, hogere leverbetrouwbaarheid en betere operationele prestaties binnen industriële productieomgevingen in Limburg, de Kempen, Vlaams-Brabant of Antwerpen.

De functie staat dicht bij productie, logistiek en commerciële teams. Door kwaliteitsdata te analyseren, verbeteracties te coördineren en collega's mee te nemen in kwaliteitsmethodieken, ontstaat een duurzame verbetercultuur met directe impact op productkwaliteit en klanttevredenheid.

Wat ga je doen?

Kwaliteitsborging en procesverbetering

  • Analyseren van fouten in processen, producten en klantenklachten en vertalen naar gerichte verbeteracties.
  • Optimaliseren van proces- en productkwaliteit door kwaliteitsplannen actueel te houden en verbeteringen te borgen.
  • Uitvoeren van interne audits rond kwaliteit, processtandaardisatie en naleving van kwaliteitsafspraken.
  • Meedenken over meetmethodes, procesbeheersing en de juiste toepassing van kwaliteitsprincipes.
  • Beslissen over goed- of afkeur van producten, inclusief quarantainebeheer en opvolging van vervolgacties.

Rapportage, coaching en stakeholderondersteuning

  • Ondersteunen van productie, technische verkoop en sales bij kwaliteitsvragen en structurele verbetertrajecten.
  • Opstellen van kwaliteitsrapportages, trendanalyses en adviezen voor toekomstige verbeteracties.
  • Beheren van relevante kwaliteitsdocumentatie en bewaken van correcte, actuele inhoud.
  • Coachen en trainen van collega's in kwaliteitsmethodieken, proceswijzigingen en verbeterinitiatieven.
  • Organiseren van workshops en adviseren van leidinggevenden en medewerkers rond kwaliteitsverbetering.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een diploma Industrieel Ingenieur in mechanica, elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een Green Belt-certificering of een duidelijke affiniteit met Lean, Six Sigma en continue verbetering.
  • Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring in een kwaliteitsrol binnen een industriële productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt kennis van statistische technieken en toepassingen zoals SPC, Six Sigma, DoE, FMEA, 8D en capability studies.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent analytisch, nieuwsgierig en verbetergericht, met de maturiteit om collega's te enthousiasmeren en draagvlak te creëren.
