The posting

Welders is een Belgische nichespeler die wereldwijd complexe drukvaten, warmtewisselaars en andere procesinstallaties op maat ontwerpt en produceert voor de chemische, petrochemische en olie- en gasindustrie. Het bedrijf combineert engineering, hoogwaardige metaalbewerking en internationale projectrealisaties vanuit zijn vestiging in Aalst. Om de verdere groei van de organisatie te ondersteunen, zijn we op zoek naar een Quality Engineer om het team te versterken.

Jouw uitdaging

Als Quality Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteitsopvolging van A tot Z binnen de projecten. Je werkt nauw samen met projectmanagers, aankoop, productie en lasspecialisten en zorgt ervoor dat elk project voldoet aan de strengste kwaliteits- en certificeringseisen. Je bent niet louter bezig met administratie, maar neemt de lead in de volledige kwaliteitsborging van een project.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder meer:

  • Bewaken en opvolgen van alle kwaliteitsaspecten tijdens de volledige projectcyclus.
  • Opstellen, beheren en controleren van kwaliteits- en certificeringsdocumentatie.
  • Coördineren van interne en externe kwaliteitscontroles en inspecties.
  • Contact onderhouden met keuringsinstanties en klanten.
  • Bespreken en oplossen van technische kwaliteitsvraagstukken met klanten, leveranciers en inspecteurs.
  • Registreren, analyseren en opvolgen van afwijkingen en corrigerende maatregelen.
  • Mee bouwen aan de verdere optimalisatie van de kwaliteitsprocessen en systemen.

Je bent een technisch onderbouwde professional die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en kwaliteit ziet als een essentieel onderdeel van succesvolle projecten.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in onderstaande punten:

  • Bachelor of master in een technische richting (mechanica, elektromechanica, werktuigkunde, lastechnologie of gelijkwaardig).
  • Ervaring als Quality Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, Project Engineer of een vergelijkbare technische functie.
  • Affiniteit met staalconstructies, apparatenbouw, drukvaten of industriële constructies is een sterke troef.
  • Kennis van kwaliteitsnormen zoals ISO, ASME of PED is mooi meegenomen of je bent gemotiveerd om hierin verder te groeien.
  • Je communiceert vlot met klanten, leveranciers en externe keuringsinstanties.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en behoudt het overzicht over meerdere projecten.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en kan je professioneel uitdrukken in het Engels.
