Voor een internationale productieomgeving in de regio van Gent zijn we op zoek naar een Quality Improvement Manager. In deze functie leg je de nadruk op het verbeteren en optimaliseren van kwaliteitsprocessen, terwijl je nauw samenwerkt met een collega die de productieactiviteiten opvolgt. Zo krijg jij alle ruimte om kwaliteit, veiligheid en continue verbetering verder uit te bouwen.

Je maakt deel uit van een internationale producent met enkele honderden medewerkers wereldwijd, actief binnen de voedingsindustrie. Binnen het team krijg je vertrouwen, verantwoordelijkheid en de kans om mee richting te geven aan verbetertrajecten. De organisatie kiest voor korte beslissingslijnen, een no-nonsense aanpak en voldoende ruimte om eigenaarschap op te nemen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zet kwaliteitsverbeteringen om in tastbare resultaten door productieprocessen kritisch te analyseren, verbeterkansen te detecteren en optimalisaties duurzaam te verankeren op de werkvloer
  • Van kwaliteitsanalyse tot concrete actie: je onderzoekt afwijkingen, voert grondige _oot cause analyses uit en werkt samen met productie en kwaliteit aan oplossingen die de productkwaliteit blijvend versterken
  • Data vormen jouw kompas terwijl je procesparameters, kwaliteitsmetingen en trends analyseert om verbeterprojecten op te starten en de prestaties van de productie continu te verhogen
  • Samen met de Quality Manager geef je vorm aan kwaliteitsinitiatieven, audits en verbeterplannen, waarbij je strategische doelstellingen vertaalt naar haalbare acties die echt het verschil maken
  • Jouw aanwezigheid op de werkvloer maakt impact doordat je kwaliteitsissues snel oppakt, procedures en werkinstructies verder optimaliseert en collega's mee stimuleert om kwaliteit elke dag naar een hoger niveau te tillen
  • Je behaalde een Masterdiploma in een technische richting, zoals Industriële Wetenschappen, Bio-ingenieur, Voedingsmiddelentechnologie of Industriële Ingenieurswetenschappen
  • Ervaring binnen een productieomgeving of een sterke affiniteit met productieprocessen is belangrijk, waarbij je graag aanwezig bent op de werkvloer en actief meedenkt over verbeteringen
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en bouwt gemakkelijk samenwerkingen op met operatoren, productieverantwoordelijken en kwaliteitscollega's
