Je zorgt dat raadsleden goed voorbereid het politieke debat kunnen voeren en hun rol goed kunnen vervullen. Je verbindt de raad met de stad, het college en de ambtelijke organisatie en houdt scherp zicht op wat er politiek en bestuurlijk speelt. Daarnaast denk je mee over hoe processen beter kunnen en werk je actief mee aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de griffie en de gemeenteraad. Dit is je werk Als commissiegriffier/ raadsadviseur werk je binnen de afdeling Griffie. Je bent betrokken bij de beeldvorming en verantwoordelijk voor het proces van oordeelsvorming tijdens commissievergaderingen. Daarna zorg je voor een goede overgang naar de besluitvorming door de gemeenteraad. Je verzorgt de planning van de raadscommissies, bewaakt het besluitvormingsproces en de termijnagenda van de commissie. Zo zorg je dat raadsleden goed geïnformeerd en geadviseerd het politieke debat kunnen voeren. De ambtelijke organisatie bereidt voorstellen inhoudelijk voor en is daarbij de inhoudelijk expert. Jij neemt kennis van de raadsvoorstellen, analyseert deze vanuit bestuurlijk perspectief en deelt in een notitie opvallendheden met de commissie. Je helpt de raadsleden bij het vormgeven van hun rollen. Uiteindelijk draait het erom dat zíj tot goede prestaties komen! We zoeken nu een commissiegriffier/ raadsadviseur voor de commissie Leefomgeving, waarin onderwerpen vallen zoals mobiliteit (o.a. Merwedelijn), energietransitie, openbare ruimte en groen. Je verdiept je in lokale en landelijke ontwikkelingen en trends voor de onderwerpen uit jouw commissie en vertaalt deze naar de Utrechtse context. Daarnaast werk je mee aan het doorontwikkelen van de griffie en gemeenteraad. Hiertoe neem je zelf initiatieven en/of werk je deze samen met collega's verder uit. - d...
