The posting

Elia is de beheerder van het Belgische hoogspanningsnet van 380 kV tot 30 kV. Elia staat in voor de ontwikkeling en het onderhoud van dit net, maakt het toegankelijk voor de gebruikers en regelt de energiestromen. De Elia groep heeft een team van 2000 professionals die als opdracht hebben de continuïteit van de elektriciteitsbevoorrading in België en een deel van Duitsland te waarborgen. Als eigenaar en beheerder van de transmissienetten in België en Duitsland heeft Elia een belangrijke rol en opdracht in het ondersteunen en concretiseren van het Europees energie- en klimaatbeleid.

Functiebeschrijving

Het departement IT Energy Market Applications & Projects is verantwoordelijk voor de uitrol en het onderhoud op lange termijn van IT-tools voor de operationele processen van Elia. Hierbij gaat het om realtime geautomatiseerd beheer van het toezicht- en controlesysteem van het elektriciteitsnet (EMS/SCADA), tools die de bevoorradingszekerheid garanderen, tools voor transacties op de verschillende energiemarkten en het uitwisselen van gegevens met marktspelers.

De rol past ook binnen de digitaliseringsstrategie van Elia Group. Als Real Time EMS & SCADA Engineer werk je mee aan diverse projecten voor upgrades en informatie-uitwisseling, in samenwerking met andere entiteiten binnen Elia in België en met de Duitse entiteit 50Hertz.

We zijn op zoek naar een Real Time EMS & SCADA Engineer die ons team zo snel mogelijk kan komen versterken. Je zal instaan voor de volledige uitrol van IT-projecten en operationele ondersteuning bieden binnen dit departement.

Je belangrijkste taken zijn:

  • Fungeren als expert op zowel functioneel als technisch vlak voor onze SCADA- en EMS-oplossingen (inclusief ondersteunende componenten).
  • Samenwerken met de business om prioriteiten te bepalen binnen je projecten en operationele activiteiten.
  • Bijdragen aan en synchroniseren met IT-projecten die voorafgaan aan of volgen op je eigen projecten, met als doel planningsproblemen op te lossen en synergieën tussen projecten te creëren.
  • Testen van zakelijke vereisten voordat ze worden goedgekeurd.
  • Valideren en verifiëren van specificaties die door de business zijn vastgesteld en, in het geval van software die intern bij Elia is ontwikkeld, deze omzetten in een functioneel en technisch ontwerp op basis van Microsoft-technologieën (.NET).
  • Samenwerken met een team van interne en/of externe Developers en de .NET Technical Manager, en nauwgezet opvolgen van projecten waarbij software wordt aangekocht of extern wordt ontwikkeld.
  • Goedkeuren en testen van de kwaliteitsbeheerstrategie en deze monitoren tijdens de uitrol.
  • Superviseren van releases.
  • Ondersteunen van eindgebruikers (tweede lijn).
  • Organiseren en prioriteren van het onderhoud van ontwikkelde oplossingen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in IT en/of elektriciteit.
  • Je hebt minstens drie jaar relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring met realtime contexten in de energiesector (SCADA, EMS, realtime beperkingen op het gebied van beschikbaarheid, enz.).
  • Je hebt ervaring met realtime protocollen en standaarden, zoals ICCP, IEC104, CGMES, enz.
  • Je kunt vlot communiceren met Developers en technische teams (bijv. IT Infrastructure) over technische onderwerpen, maar ook met Operators over technische en ontwerpgerelateerde zaken.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van en ervaring in de elektriciteits- en/of energiesector.
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden, hebt organisatietalent en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Je bent klantgericht en kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Engels en hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en/of het Frans.
  • Je bent bereid om in het kader van projecten af en toe naar het buitenland te reizen.
