Voor een innovatieve klant in de regio Ieper – actief in de voedingssector – zijn wij op zoek naar een Assistent Technical Manager. Dit vooruitstrevend West-Vlaams bedrijf heeft recent stevig geïnvesteerd in een ultramodern machinepark. Dankzij deze geavanceerde technologieën kan de productie efficiënt, betrouwbaar én continu blijven draaien. Kwaliteit, innovatie en optimalisatie staan daarbij centraal.

Met een 70-tal enthousiaste medewerkers vormt deze KMO een hecht team dat inzet op samenwerking, korte communicatielijnen en een no-nonsense mentaliteit. Door de sterke toename in de vraag naar hun producten, groeit de organisatie gestaag. Om die groei mee in goede banen te leiden, zoeken ze een technisch onderbouwde rechterhand voor de Technical Manager.

In deze functie ondersteun je de technische leiding bij het aansturen van de technische dienst en help je mee aan de verdere uitbouw van het machinepark en de optimalisatie van productieprocessen. Je combineert hands-on technische kennis met organisatorisch inzicht en krijgt de kans om stap voor stap door te groeien binnen het bedrijf.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • In de functie van Rechterhand Technical Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de utilities en waterzuivering
  • Je lost problemen op vóórdat ze ontstaan (preventief). Op die manier zorg je ervoor dat de productie non-stop kan blijven draaien
  • Het uitvoeren van analyses en het leggen van verbanden binnen de waterzuivering maakt ook deel uit van je takenpakket
  • Je stuurt direct een team van twee operatoren aan
  • Naast waterzuivering zorg je voor het goed functioneren van de utilities (lucht, koeling en stoom)
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Technical Manager en maakt deel uit van een team van drie personen (die focussen op productie)
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Bachelors/Masterdiploma Elektromechanica of Chemie
  • Ervaring met waterzuivering/utilities binnen een productieomgeving is een vereiste om de functie goed te kunnen uitoefenen. Pluspunten als dit binnen de voedingsindustrie was
  • Je bent hands-on ingesteld en bent niet bang om, indien nodig, de handen uit de mouwen te steken
