Stad Dendermonde is op zoek naar een tijdelijk voltijdse redder voor bepaalde duur vanaf 1 oktober 2026.

Rol in de organisatie

  • Veiligheid van zwemmers verzekeren
  • Toezicht in het zwembad houden
  • Eerste zorgen toedienen bij verwondingen
  • Reddingmateriaal, EHBO-materiaal, AED-toestellen en luchtkwaliteit controleren
  • Bij noodinterventies reddingstaken uitvoeren, de zwembadcoördinator inlichten en contact houden met de hulpdiensten
  • Vragen en klachten van bezoekers behandelen
  • Bezoekers aanspreken bij wangedrag
  • Zwembadwater controleren
  • Onderhoudstaken uitvoeren in de zwemhal en kleedruimtes
  • Meewerken aan promotieactiviteiten zoals Halloween en Hallo Zomer

De ideale kandidaat?

Als redder werk je zelfstandig, ben je stressbestendig en hou je het hoofd koel bij noodsituaties. Je communiceert op een vriendelijke, klantgerichte en constructieve manier en biedt kwalitatieve dienstverlening aan alle zwembadbezoekers. Samen met je collega’s sta je in voor een aangename werksfeer en draag je actief bij aan een goede samenwerking. Je hebt een probleemoplossende houding.

Je werkt om de 14 dagen op zaterdag en zondag, in afwisselende shiften. Avondwerk of werken op een feestdag schrikt jou niet af.

De diplomavoorwaarden:

  • Houder zijn van een diploma van het secundair onderwijs of daarmee gelijkgesteld onderwijs.

Extra voorwaarden:

  • Diploma hoger redder vereist. Indien je je diploma langer dan 1 jaar geleden behaald hebt, moet je ons voor je indiensttreding een bewijs van recente bijscholing bezorgen.
