Ben jij een technisch onderlegde sales engineer met ervaring in de las- en metaalindustrie, en ben je op zoek naar een voltijdse uitdaging in België? Heb je een passie voor het opbouwen van sterke klantenrelaties en het ontdekken van nieuwe zakelijke kansen? Zoek je een rol waar je jouw commerciële vaardigheden verder kunt ontwikkelen? Dan is deze functie bij ons gespecialiseerde bedrijf precies wat je zoekt!

Als Sales engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het stimuleren van onze groei in de metaal- en constructiesector. Je krijgt veel autonomie en werkt binnen een klein, hecht team waar jouw bijdrage zichtbaar en gewaardeerd is. Ben jij klaar om actief te prospecteren, bestaande klanten te onderhouden en bij te dragen aan ons succes?

In deze rol zal je onder andere:

  • Actief prospecteren van nieuwe klanten binnen de industrie.
  • Het onderhouden en uitbreiden van bestaande klantenrelaties.
  • Adviseren van klanten over lasttechnieken, materialen en oplossingen.
  • Beheren en op termijn overnemen van bestaande klantenportefeuilles.
  • Opvolgen van offertes en commerciële kansen.
  • Onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers en partners.
  • Het klantenbestand in België uitbouwen, met een focus op Vlaanderen.

Je klanten zullen bestaan uit een diverse groep bedrijven, waaronder industriële en constructiebedrijven, grote spelers zoals Fluxys en Equans, en kleinere zelfstandige lasbedrijven. In de beginfase ligt de nadruk op prospectie, waarna je rol evolueert naar een balans tussen new business en accountmanagement.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een kandidaat die zich herkent in het volgende profiel:

  • Enkele jaren ervaring binnen de staal- of metaalindustrie.
  • Technische kennis van lasttechnieken of ervaring als lasser, technieker of in een technisch commerciële rol.
  • Commercieel inzicht gecombineerd met technische expertise.
  • Prospectief ingesteld en sterk in relatiebeheer.
  • Een assertieve houding en in staat om actief door te vragen naar de behoeften en kansen bij klanten.
  • Zelfstandig werkend en initiatiefrijk.
  • Flexibel en goed in staat om te functioneren in een prestatiegerichte omgeving.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands; Frans
  • Professioneel kunnen uitdrukken in Engels, gezien het technisch jargon.
  • In het bezit van een rijbewijs B.
