Wil jij technische expertise combineren met klantencontact en zelfstandig projecten van A tot Z opvolgen?

In regio Gent kom je terecht bij een sterk groeiende machinebouwer met zo'n 200 medewerkers. Het bedrijf ontwikkelt en bouwt volledig in eigen huis unieke machines die wereldwijd worden ingezet. Je werkt in een collegiale omgeving waar technische kwaliteit en maatwerk centraal staan.

Voor deze nieuwe functie krijg je een autonome rol binnen de serviceactiviteiten. Je richt je voornamelijk op bestaande klanten in de Benelux die hun installaties willen uitbreiden, aanpassen of optimaliseren. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan het toevoegen van een installatie of het verbeteren van een bestaande installatie.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Sales Engineer ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt voor bestaande klanten en vertaal je hun technische vragen naar concrete serviceprojecten
  • Daarnaast analyseer je samen met interne engineeringteams de technische haalbaarheid van projecten
  • Verder bezoek je klanten regelmatig en bouw je bestaande relaties verder uit
  • Ook neem je kleinere serviceprojecten zelfstandig vast en volg je deze op van aanvraag tot oplevering
  • Tot slot ben je gemiddeld 2 à 3 dagen per week onderweg binnen de Benelux, waarbij buitenlandse overnachtingen beperkt blijven tot ongeveer 10% van je tijd
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een technische richting
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een technische B2B-omgeving met zelfstandig klantencontact
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
