Heb jij een passie voor de vleessector, krijg je energie van netwerken én combineer je graag het uitbouwen van bestaande klantrelaties met het binnenhalen van nieuwe accounts? Voor een dynamisch, financieel gezond en sterk groeiend familiebedrijf in de regio Waasland zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Senior Account Manager voor de Belgische markt.

In deze veelzijdige functie ben je de commerciële spilfiguur voor klanten binnen de vleesverwerkende industrie, groothandel, retail en foodservice. Je bent 50% van je tijd bezig met het koesteren en verder uitdiepen van bestaande partnerships (farming) en richt je voor 50% op het actief opsporen en verzilveren van nieuwe commerciële opportuniteiten (hunting).

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je beheert en verdiept een portefeuille van bestaande klanten in het segment én gaat proactief op zoek naar nieuwe marktchancen en commerciële ingangen op de Belgische markt.
  • Je adviseert klanten deskundig over het productassortiment, kwaliteit, marktontwikkelingen en prijsstructuren. Je voert de onderhandelingen over voorwaarden en volgt offertes en orders nauwgezet op.
  • Je bezoekt je klanten op regelmatige basis en bouwt een duurzaam netwerk op binnen de vleesverwerkende industrie, retail, groothandel en foodservice.
  • Je vertegenwoordigt het bedrijf op toonaangevende vakbeurzen, netwerkevents en sectoractiviteiten.
  • Om een vlekkeloze service en levering te garanderen, werk je intensief samen met de interne teams van aankoop, productie, kwaliteitszorg en logistiek.
  • Je volgt prijs- en markttrends binnen de vleessector nauwlettend op, speelt hier proactief op in en rapporteert over verkoopresultaten en marktontwikkelingen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Aantoonbare commerciële ervaring en een grondige kennis van/affiniteit met de vleessector.
  • Een gezonde 'hunting' drive: je schrikt er niet van terug om proactief nieuwe deuren te openen.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden; je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en hebt een goede professionele kennis van het Frans en Engels.
  • Een oplossingsgerichte, zelfstandige en proactieve werkhouding.
  • Een echte netwerker en bruggenbouwer die makkelijk vertrouwen wint en relaties op lange termijn weet vast te houden.
