The posting

Voor een snelgroeiende Belgische onderneming binnen de duurzame energiesector zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Accountant (m/v/x).

Je komt terecht in een ambitieus finance team in regio Gent, waar samenwerking, autonomie en een no-nonsense mentaliteit centraal staan. Door de sterke groei van de organisatie krijg je de kans om mee te bouwen aan nieuwe entiteiten en financiële processen binnen een beursgenoteerde omgeving.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je staat in voor de A-Z boekhouding van één of meerdere vennootschappen;
  • Je verwerkt complexe boekhoudkundige verrichtingen en ondersteunt de junior accountant waar nodig;
  • Je bereidt maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen voor;
  • Je stelt btw-aangiftes en andere fiscale verplichtingen op;
  • Je ondersteunt externe audits en onderhoudt contact met auditors;
  • Je maakt financiële rapporteringen op voor controllers en management;
  • Je denkt actief mee over optimalisaties van processen en interne controles;
  • Je werkt mee aan de verdere uitbouw van de finance afdeling binnen een sterk groeiende organisatie.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een boekhoudkundige richting;
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting;
  • Je hebt ervaring met A-Z boekhouding;
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid;
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en denkt proactief mee over verbeteringen;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel;
  • Ervaring met een ERP-pakket is een pluspunt;
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands. Kennis van Frans en/of Engels is mooi meegenomen.
