Sommige vacatures vragen je om een bestaand systeem draaiende te houden. Deze vraagt je om het mee op te bouwen. Als Senior Accountant stap je binnen in een gloednieuwe productiesite in het hart van de Limburgse Kempen, en help je de boekhouding van bij het begin stevig, correct en toekomstgericht neer te zetten.

Wat ga je doen?

Je wordt de spil van de dagelijkse boekhouding binnen het regionale financiële team, dat deel uitmaakt van de internationale groep. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan het afdelingshoofd en je geeft leiding aan een accountant.

  • Je zorgt dat alle financiële informatie correct en tijdig in de grootboeken, boekhoudsystemen en treasurytools terechtkomt
  • Je voert de reconciliaties uit: debiteuren, crediteuren, intercompany, bank en kredietkaarten, en je spoort verschillen op en lost ze op
  • Je neemt actief deel aan de maandafsluiting, met manuele boekingen en overlopende posten
  • Je voert de betalingen uit en hebt de kasstromen dagelijks in het oog
  • Je bouwt de cashflowrapportering op korte termijn op en houdt ze bij
  • Je levert managementinformatie over betalingen en facturen en helpt bij de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapportering
  • Je denkt mee over budgetten, forecasts en variantieanalyses
  • Je bereidt de documentatie voor audits voor en beantwoordt samen met je leidinggevende de vragen van de auditors
  • Je helpt de boekhoudkundige procedures en controles mee uittekenen en houdt je kennis van de regelgeving up-to-date
  • Je coacht en begeleidt je collega-accountant

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in een financiële richting, idealiter aangevuld met een boekhoudkundige kwalificatie of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Je hebt al enkele jaren ervaring als accountant of boekhouder
  • Je kent de Belgische btw en de vennootschapsbelasting
  • Reconciliaties, factuurbeheer, maandafsluitingen en auditdossiers zijn voor jou vertrouwd terrein
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk
  • Je bent hands-on, houdt het overzicht bij meerdere deadlines en bouwt makkelijk relaties op met andere afdelingen
  • Pluspunten: ervaring in een productieomgeving, met SAP of met Power BI
