Ben jij DPO, privacy/compliance professional of governance-specialist met een stevige interesse in AI? Wil je de brug maken tussen regelgeving, risico’s, technologie en fundamentele rechten—en tegelijk mee richting geven aan hoe de Vlaamse overheid AI op schaal inzet? Dan is dit jouw rol.

Waar kom je terecht?

Als AI Governance & Compliance Consultant begeleid je Digitaal Vlaanderen en haar partners bij het compliant ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en inzetten van AI-systemen. Je helpt teams de EU AI Act vertalen naar werkbare processen, controls en beslissingen in echte projecten.

Wat zal je moeten doen?

  • Je voert en coördineert Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments (FRIA) en AI-compliance checks, incl. risicoanalyse en mitigaties.
  • Je adviseert over de implementatie van de EU AI Act (o.a. risicoklassificatie, governance, documentatie, opvolging).
  • Je werkt samen met experten rond gegevensbescherming, informatieveiligheid en data governance.
  • Je maakt beleid & richtlijnen praktisch: procedures, templates, “ways of working”, training & workshops.
  • Je helpt teams met evidence & auditability: risico- en controleregisters, opvolging en maturiteitsgroei. (In onze context bestaan er al bouwstenen/handvatten zoals een AI risico- en controleregister waar je mee kan werken en op verder kan bouwen.)

Een multidisciplinair team waar kennisdeling centraal staat en waar je de ruimte krijgt om je verder te verdiepen in AI, ethiek en compliance (hybride werken: thuis, Gent/Brussel, en bij partners).

Wie ben jij?

Je herkent jezelf in meerdere van deze punten:

  • Je hebt min. 3 jaar ervaring in privacy/compliance/risk/governance in een digitale/IT-context (bv. DPO, privacy consultant, compliance officer, risk manager, ISO/ISMS, auditor, advocaat/jurist met tech-focus).
  • Je kan complexe kaders (GDPR, AI Act, security/gov) vertalen naar werkbare processen en beslissingen in projecten.
  • Je bent sterk in stakeholdermanagement: je kan schakelen tussen juridisch, business en IT.
  • Je bent analytisch én pragmatisch: je maakt risico’s concreet en stuurt op haalbare mitigaties.

Nice to have (maar geen must):

  • Ervaring met DPIA’s/risico-assessments, audits, policy frameworks of control frameworks.
  • Certificering of opleiding rond privacy/risk/security/AI governance.
