Voor een internationaal georiënteerde en groeiende organisatie is Robert Half momenteel op zoek naar een Senior Boekhouder (m/v/x).

Onze klant is gevestigd in Geel en maakt deel uit van een internationale groep met activiteiten verspreid over Europa. De organisatie staat bekend om haar innovatieve aanpak, mensgerichte cultuur en sterke focus op kwaliteit en continue verbetering.

In deze functie krijg je een centrale rol binnen de Europese finance-organisatie en werk je nauw samen met diverse stakeholders in een internationale context. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Finance Manager en fungeert als diens rechterhand binnen de financiële afdeling. Dit biedt een unieke kans om impact te maken op financiële processen, compliance en rapportering binnen verschillende Europese entiteiten.

De verantwoordelijkheden van deze functie als Senior Boekhouder (m/v/x) zijn:

  • Coördineren van externe audits en optreden als belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor auditors;
  • Voorbereiden van maandelijkse groepsrapporteringen voor het internationale hoofdkantoor;
  • Zorgen voor tijdige en correcte maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen voor verschillende Europese entiteiten;
  • Beheren van de grootboekadministratie en uitvoeren van balansreconciliaties;
  • Opstellen en opvolgen van wettelijke jaarrekeningen en andere wettelijke rapporteringen;
  • Toezien op de naleving van lokale boekhoudnormen, fiscale verplichtingen en wettelijke voorschriften;
  • Verantwoordelijk zijn voor btw-processen, inclusief reconciliaties, aangiften en opvolging van grensoverschrijdende transacties;
  • Fungeren als intern aanspreekpunt voor btw-gerelateerde vraagstukken en samenwerken met externe adviseurs;
  • Ondersteunen van Accounts Receivable- en Accounts Payable-processen waar nodig;
  • Onderhouden en optimaliseren van boekhoudkundige procedures, processen en handleidingen;
  • Meewerken aan financiële transformatieprojecten, standaardisatie en automatiseringsinitiatieven;
  • Ondersteunen van de Finance Manager bij financieel beheer, interne controles en procesverbeteringen;
  • Optreden als betrouwbare sparringpartner voor management en collega's binnen de Europese organisatie;
  • Bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het financiële team en de bredere financiële structuur binnen Europa.

De vereiste kwalificaties voor deze functie van Senior Boekhouder (m/v/x) zijn:

  • Je beschikt over een sterke ervaring binnen accounting en financiële rapportering;
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels;
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van boekhoudkundige principes en financiële processen;
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Europese btw-regelgeving en grensoverschrijdende transacties;
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden;
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en bent sterk in het bewaken van deadlines;
  • Je bent een proactieve professional die verantwoordelijkheid neemt en initiatief toont;
  • Je voelt je comfortabel in een internationale omgeving en werkt vlot samen met stakeholders uit verschillende landen en culturen;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van de courante Microsoft Office-toepassingen;
  • Ervaring met SAP is een troef;
  • Je hebt de ambitie om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een organisatie met doorgroeimogelijkheden richting een leidinggevende financiële functie.
