Voor een internationale speler binnen de logistieke sector zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Expediteur voor het kantoor in Antwerpen.

De organisatie is actief in forwarding, warehousing, customs en value added logistics en telt meer dan 250 medewerkers, verspreid over meerdere landen. Klantgerichtheid, knowhow en innovatie staan centraal. Je komt terecht op een moderne, duurzame werkomgeving met een gloednieuw kantoor en een aangrenzend magazijn van 9.000 m².

Jouw rol

Als Senior Expediteur ben je een belangrijke schakel in het volledige traject van diverse soorten cargo, waaronder containers, RoRo en project cargo, voornamelijk via zeevracht.

Samen met een hecht team van vijf collega's zorg je ervoor dat elk dossier van A tot Z correct en vlot verloopt: van de eerste boeking tot en met de facturatie. Je beheert je eigen klantenportefeuille en neemt daarbij een sterke coördinerende en adviserende rol op.

Je werkt dagelijks samen met klanten en internationale agenten, waardoor je job een mooie combinatie biedt van verantwoordelijkheid, klantencontact en internationale contacten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je beheert een eigen klantenportefeuille en bent hun operationele aanspreekpunt.
  • Je coördineert het volledige expeditieproces van A tot Z.
  • Je bewaakt de voortgang van dossiers en zorgt ervoor dat alles tijdig en correct wordt afgehandeld.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met klanten, agenten en andere betrokken partijen wereldwijd.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het sales- en documentatieteam.
  • Je rapporteert aan de teamleader en krijgt ondersteuning en coaching van een ervaren collega.

Jij bent de ideale kandidaat als je...

  • ervaring hebt met het beheren van expeditiedossiers van A tot Z. Ervaring met het opstellen en verwerken van douanedocumenten is een mooie plus.
  • klant- en servicegericht bent en graag meedenkt met klanten en collega's.
  • nauwkeurig werkt en oog hebt voor detail.
  • energie krijgt van internationale contacten en het samenwerken met mensen uit verschillende culturen.
  • een praktische en hands-on mentaliteit hebt en graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt.
  • communicatief sterk bent in het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van een extra taal, zoals Frans, is een pluspunt.
  • proactief te werk gaat en graag vooruitdenkt om problemen en onverwachte situaties te voorkomen.
  • een enthousiaste teamspeler bent die graag samenwerkt en verantwoordelijkheid neemt.
