Waar jij aan bijdraagt Als Senior Financieel beleidsadviseur P&C speel je een sleutelrol in het financieel en strategisch sturen van het waterschap. Je bent een stevige sparringpartner voor bestuur, directie en management en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het ontwikkelen, bewaken en versterken van het financieel beleid. Je bent dé drijvende kracht achter de verdere ontwikkeling van de Planning & Control-cyclus. Daarbij zorg je voor een optimale samenhang tussen verschillende sturingsinstrumenten en bewaak je de kwaliteit en consistentie van het geheel. Dankzij jouw expertise beschikken bestuur, managementteam en de secretaris-directeur over de juiste informatie en inzichten om weloverwogen keuzes te maken en effectief richting te geven aan de organisatie. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de senior financieel adviseur business control en de directiesecretaris om de ambtelijke sturing te versterken. Je hebt oog voor zowel de harde kant van Planning & Control, zoals cijfers, analyses en rapportages, als voor de zachte kant: het creëren van draagvlak, verbinding en inzicht binnen de organisatie. Samen met je collega senior financieel adviseurs coördineer je de totstandkoming van de belangrijkste bestuurlijke P&C-producten en begeleid je het bestuurlijke besluitvormingsproces. Je levert zelf inhoudelijke bijdragen, verbindt verschillende perspectieven en bewaakt de samenhang en kwaliteit van de eindproducten. Daarnaast beweegt het waterschap zich steeds vaker in complexe samenwerkingsverbanden met andere overheden en private partijen. Jij bent hierbij een belangrijke adviseur.
