The posting

Voor een internationale groep met hoofdkantoor in de Gentse haven actief als grote logistieke speler zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Senior Internal Auditor (M/V/X).

Deze organisatie bouwt momenteel haar interne auditfunctie internationaal verder uit en zoekt een profiel dat zelfstandig kan opereren als lokale spil binnen een internationaal auditteam.

Functieomschrijving

Als Senior Internal Auditor kom je terecht in een internationaal team van Interne Auditors. Je bent mede verantwoordelijk voor de auditwerking in België en ondersteunt daarnaast internationale audits, hoofdzakelijk op afstand. Als enige interne auditor op het hoofdkantoor ben je een cruciaal aanspreekpunt voor stakeholders binnen de verschillende business units, en werk je zelfstandig maar met de steun van een internationaal team o.l.v. een interne audit director.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • De planning, uitvoering en rapportering van interne auditopdrachten, zowel op locatie als op afstand.
  • Het toepassen van internationale auditnormen en -methodologie om controles te beoordelen en risico's in kaart te brengen - over financiële, operationele én IT-domeinen heen.
  • Het presenteren en bespreken van auditbevindingen met senior management en aandeelhouders, en het formuleren van doeltreffende, praktijkgerichte aanbevelingen.
  • Toezicht houden op de opvolging van auditaanbevelingen en entiteiten ondersteunen bij de implementatie van corrigerende maatregelen.
  • Bijdragen aan de verdere uitbouw van auditprogramma's, nieuwe audit frameworks en methodologieën - je krijgt ruimte om mee te bouwen aan een groeiend departement, inclusief het opzetten van eigen templates en rapportages.
  • Coördineren van ad-hoc auditprojecten en strategische ondersteuning bieden.
  • Rapporteren aan de Group Head of Internal Audit en een doorgedreven samenwerking met het algemeen management.

Profiel

  • Masterdiploma in Finance, Corporate Finance, Bedrijfskunde of een verwant vakgebied.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in interne of externe audit, bij voorkeur in een internationale B2B-omgeving.
  • Je bent evenzeer comfortabel om zelfstandig ownership te nemen als om nauw samen te werken met diverse interne stakeholders - gaande van operationeel niveau tot senior management.
  • Grondige kennis van internationale auditnormen en ...
  • Vertrouwd met ERP-systemen (bv. Microsoft D365) en data-analyse tools zoals PowerBI; affiniteit met automatiseringstools binnen audit is een plus.
  • Uitstekende analytische vaardigheden en oog voor detail.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Bereidheid om regelmatig te reizen, ook internationaal.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, stakeholdermanagement, integriteit en de durf om kritische boodschappen op een constructieve manier te brengen.
