Je werkt aan complexe technische vraagstukken, en het definiëren en coördineren van het werk. Functieomschrijving Als Senior Mechanical Engineer bij Eurosort draag jij de volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor het mechanisch ontwerp binnen de projecten, van scopebepaling tot realisatie. Je combineert diepgaande technische kennis met leiderschap: je werkt zelf aan uitdagende engineeringvraagstukken, maar bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen, begeleiden en verbeteren van het werk binnen jouw projecten. Van de eerste technische scope en 2D lay-out tot de uiteindelijke realisatie. Jij behoud het overzicht, bewaakt de kwaliteit en zorgt dat alles klopt. Je opereert in het hart van de engineeringfase en werkt intensief samen met Project Lead Engineers, Project Managers en de andere disciplines binnen de organisatie. Je bent sparringpartner, besluitvormer en coach tegelijk. Binnen projecten neem jij de lead in het definiëren van werkzaamheden, het verdelen van taken en het bewaken van de voortgang, en de kwaliteit. Tegelijkertijd krijg je binnen bepaalde kaders bij Eurosort de vrijheid om jouw rol vorm te geven: of je nu energie haalt uit techniek, coaching of stakeholdermanagement, samen word er gekeken waar jij het beste in je kracht komt.
