Voor een moderne gezelschapsdierenkliniek in Schiedam zoeken wij een senior paraveterinair voor 24 tot 32 uur per week. In deze veelzijdige functie blijf je actief betrokken bij de dagelijkse diergeneeskundige zorg. Tegelijkertijd krijg je de mogelijkheid om managementtaken op te pakken en de praktijkleiding te ondersteunen. Dan biedt deze vacature jou een mooie kans om die stap geleidelijk en met de juiste begeleiding te zetten. Wat ga je doen? Het grootste deel van jouw werkweek bestaat uit reguliere paraveterinaire werkzaamheden. Je bent een ervaren aanspreekpunt voor collega's en huisdiereigenaren en draagt bij aan een goed georganiseerde werkdag. Jouw werkzaamheden kunnen onder andere bestaan uit: - assisteren van dierenartsen tijdens consulten, onderzoeken en behandelingen; - voorbereiden en begeleiden van operaties; - bewaken van patiënten tijdens anesthesie en recovery; - verzorgen en monitoren van opgenomen dieren; - uitvoeren van laboratoriumwerkzaamheden en aanvullende onderzoeken; - adviseren van huisdiereigenaren over voeding, medicatie en nazorg; - verzorgen van balie-, telefoon- en administratieve werkzaamheden; - bewaken van rust, overzicht en kwaliteit tijdens drukke momenten; - begeleiden en ondersteunen van minder ervaren collega's.
