Senior Product Engineer Wil jij als Senior Engineer niet alleen ontwerpen, maar ook richting geven? Bij VIAVAC ontwikkel je slimme vacuüm hijsoplossingen die wereldwijd worden ingezet in de bouw. Geen anonieme massaproductie, maar technisch doordachte systemen waarbij veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid en maakbaarheid cruciaal zijn. Als Senior Product Engineer ben jij de inhoudelijke motor achter onze productontwikkeling en degene die structuur brengt in de aanpak van het ontwikkel proces, technische productkeuzes en samenwerking. Uren per week: 32-40 uur Niveau: HBO-WO Werktuigbouwkunde Wat ga je doen? Je werkt van concept-idee tot serieproductie aan innovatieve vacuüm hijsgereedschappen. Dat betekent: - Ontwikkeling van complete producten van 1 e idee tot werkend prototype naar Launch. Wij werken in Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD); - Je bouwt en test jouw prototypes in onze eigen R&D-werkplaats, waar je beschikt over moderne faciliteiten zoals een 3D-printer om ideeën snel tot leven te brengen; - Trouble-shooten en oplossen in het geval van technische issues in de Viavac producten; - Uitvoeren van nodige berekeningen dmv FEA en/of handberekeningen; - Uitdenken van modulaire productfamilies en configureerbare systemen; - Borgen van maakbaarheid, veiligheid en kwaliteit; - Structuur brengen in de door jouw geleide ontwikkelprojecten waarin we volgens het Stage-Gate principe werken; - Intensieve samenwerking met product-management, productie, inkoop en sales; - Begeleiden van meer jr. product-engineers tijdens 'jouw' ontwikkelproject. Je bent niet alleen technisch sterk, je overziet ook het grotere geheel, waar de samenwerking tussen alle disciplines cruciaal is. Je stelt de juiste technische vragen, maakt onderbouwde keuzes en helpt junior en medior engineers groeien in professionaliteit en aanpak. Bij VIAVAC werk je in een compact team.
