IFORI is een juridisch nichekantoor gespecialiseerd in IP protection, legal & compliance. Elke dag trachten we onze slogan 'BETTER BEATS GOOD' waar te maken. Onze expertise gaat van het strategische beheer en de uitbouw van IP-portfolio's (octrooien, merken & modellen, domeinnamen), over het opstellen en onderhandelen van contracten en het implementeren van trade secret policies bij bedrijven, tot het uitvoeren van IP-gerelateerde studies voor de overheid. Tegelijk hebben we een ijzersterke reputatie in nichedomeinen zoals kunstrecht en auteursrecht. Onze klanten gaan van hoogtechnologische start-ups en overheidsorganisaties tot beursgenoteerde multinationals en Vlaamse familiale kmo's, voor wie wij een vaste vertrouwenspartner op lange termijn zijn.

Voor ons kantoor in Antwerpen zoeken wij een senior merken- en modellengemachtigde.

Welke kansen krijg je?

Je beheert op zelfstandige wijze een eigen portefeuille aan accounts en IP-dossiers van A tot Z. Je hebt rechtstreeks contact met de klant en adviseert onderbouwd, degelijk en helder geformuleerd, met oog voor de specifieke noden van de organisatie die je door en door leert kennen. Je kent je klanten persoonlijk en bouwt een professionele vertrouwensrelatie met hen op.

Je staat onder meer in voor:

  • Strategisch adviseren van de klant en proactief beheren van zijn of haar trademark- en designportfolio
  • Verrichten van alle depots, en opvolgen en aansturen van lokale agenten wereldwijd
  • Uitvoeren van beschikbaarheidsonderzoeken en het analyseren en rapporteren van bewakingsrapporten
  • Aanschrijven van de tegenpartij bij inbreuken
  • Instellen en opvolgen van procedures, en vaststellingen laten doen door gerechtsdeurwaarders
  • Instellen van opposities of aantekenen van beroep, met een slagvaardige en duidelijke argumentatie
  • Mee commercieel uitbouwen van het team en het kantoor (als je die ambitie deelt)
  • Optioneel: coachen en begeleiden van junior collega's, en aansturen van mandaten in-house bij klanten We hechten veel belang aan teamwork om onze klanten een excellente end-to-end service en kwaliteit te garanderen. Ondanks de zelfstandigheid in je rol werk je dus dagelijks samen met collega's.

VEREISTE COMPETENTIES:

  • Merken en modellen registreren en portefeuilles beheren bij nationale en internationale instanties
  • Merkonderzoeken uitvoeren en merkbeschikbaarheid beoordelen
  • Verweren, opposities, nietigheids- en doorhalingsprocedures behandelen
  • Strategisch IP-advies formuleren en helder communiceren naar klanten
  • Zelfstandig dossierbeheer van A tot Z, met scherp oog voor detail en termijnen
  • Nederlands: zeer goed | Engels en/of Frans: goede kennis vereist
