Zoek je een rol waarin je je technische expertise kunt combineren met commerciële verantwoordelijkheid en invloed op de markt? Dan is deze functie iets voor jou. Als Senior Underwriter Property speel je een sleutelrol binnen het Surety-team. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beoordelen, structureren en onderhandelen van complexe of high-value risico's. Daarbij zorg je voor een zorgvuldige balans tussen technische nauwkeurigheid, commerciële doelstellingen en naleving van interne governancekaders. Je beschikt over ruime ervaring in het zelfstandig beheren van een portefeuille, neemt beslissingen binnen je volmacht en bent een gewaardeerd aanspreekpunt voor makelaars en klanten. Wat ga je doen? - Leiden van de beoordeling en onderhandelingen van complexe Surety-risico's. - Vaststellen van tarief, voorwaarden en structuur binnen het vastgestelde risicoprofiel. - Analyseren van portefeuilleresultaten, verliestrends en blootstellingen; adviseren van verbeteracties waar nodig. - Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke relaties met makelaars, klanten, banken en andere stakeholders. - Fungeren als expert en klankbord voor collega-underwriters bij niet-standaard risico's. - Waarborgen dat underwritingactiviteiten voldoen aan interne en wettelijke vereisten. - Samenwerken met afdelingen als Claims, Finance en Actuariaat om prijsstelling en portefeuillebeheer te optimaliseren. - Actief deelnemen aan marktonderzoeken, productontwikkeling en risicodialogen. Specifieke verantwoordelijkheden binnen Surety - Genereren van nieuwe Surety-kansen via makelaars, agenten, banken en klanten. - Opstellen van jaaranalyses, kredietbeoordelingen en prijsrapporten. - Onderhandelen over transacties en documentatie met alle betrokken partijen. - Beoordelen van verzoeken tot wijzigingen of verlenginge...
