Sommige jobs doe je gewoon, andere beleef je. Dit is er zo één. Als service monteur stap je elke dag een wereld binnen waar kracht en techniek samenkomen. Je rijdt met je collega naar grote industriële sites, waar transportbanden het kloppend hart van de productie zijn. Staan die stil, dan ligt alles stil, en precies daar maak jij het verschil.

Met je handen, je vakmanschap en je team zorg je dat alles weer draait. Het is geen werk in een propere werkplaats, maar in de buitenlucht, tussen staal, beton en machines. Zwaar soms, ja. Maar ook puur, eerlijk en met directe voldoening: dankzij jou loopt de productie weer als een trein.

Vanaf dag één word je meegenomen in een traject dat je stap voor stap sterker maakt. Eerst leer je in het atelier hoe je rubber snijdt en bewerkt. Daarna ga je mee op pad, ontdek je de kneepjes van het vak en groei je uit tot een volwaardige specialist. Altijd met iemand naast je, want dit werk doe je nooit alleen. En hoe meer je leert, hoe meer verantwoordelijkheid én voordelen je erbij krijgt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Industriële transportbanden herstellen en vervangen bij uiteenlopende klanten
  • Samenwerken in duo’s, elkaar ondersteunen en samen de klus klaren
  • Afwisseling tussen buitenwerk en atelierwerk, elke dag ziet er anders uit
  • Een leertraject volgen van ongeveer twee jaar, zodat je uitgroeit tot volwaardig monteur
  • Rekening houden met flexibele uren, interventies en af en toe een zaterdagshift
  • Je woont in de regio Waasland en kan snel bij klanten zijn
  • Je bent fysiek sterk, hebt geen schrik van vuil of uitdagende omstandigheden en geen hoogtevrees
  • Een achtergrond in bouw, automechaniek of buitenwerk is mooi meegenomen, maar motivatie en leergierigheid zijn minstens zo belangrijk
