Dan is deze functie als Service Monteur Mechanisch Benelux - Separatoren & Decanters iets om goed te bekijken. Je werkt aan separatoren en decanters, dit zijn industriële machines die vloeistoffen en vaste delen van elkaar scheiden. Dat gebeurt met hoge snelheden en met heel kleine toleranties. Een machine kan er van buiten simpel uitzien, maar van binnen zit veel techniek. Je komt bij klanten in onder andere food, pharma, waterzuivering en andere procesindustrie. Ongeveer 80% van je werk bestaat uit sleutelen, reviseren, meten, controleren en opnieuw netjes opbouwen. Elektrotechniek hoort erbij, maar is gericht op storingzoeken en vervangen van elektrische delen, dus je hoeft bij de start geen elektricien te zijn. Als jouw mechanische basis goed is, kun je de rest leren. Jouw functie: Service Monteur Mechanisch Benelux - Separatoren Je vertrekt meestal vanuit huis naar de klant. Daar werk je aan separatoren en decanters. Dit zijn machines met roterende delen die op hoge snelheid draaien. Een lager, afdichting, bowl of aandrijving moet perfect gemonteerd zitten. In het begin ligt de nadruk op onderhoud en revisie. Je haalt machines uit elkaar, controleert onderdelen op slijtage en bouwt alles weer zorgvuldig op.
