Voor een toonaangevende IT-dienstverlener zijn wij op zoek naar een 1st line Servicedesk Engineer ter versterking van het operator team bij een belangrijke klant in Brussel. Je komt terecht in een jong en dynamisch team waar samenwerking, kennisdeling en persoonlijke groei centraal staan.

Functieomschrijving

Binnen deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken en ondersteunen van IT-systemen en infrastructuur remotly binnen een control room. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het garanderen van de continuïteit en kwaliteit van de dienstverlening. Om deze dienstverlening op de best mogelijke manier te kunnen voorzien, past onze klant een shiftensysteem toe.

Je taken omvatten onder andere:

  • Fungeren als eerste lijn ondersteuning bij alerts van monitoring- en infrastructuursystemen
  • Registreren en opvolgen van incidenten via een ticketingsysteem
  • Nauwgezet volgen van procedures en werkinstructies volgens vooraf bepaalde checklists
  • Tijdig escaleren wanneer SLA’s niet behaald dreigen te worden
  • Garanderen van een kwalitatieve en correcte output
  • Beheren van opslag en logistiek van externe media (back-ups)
  • Coördineren van data-uitwisseling en back-ups met externe partijen

Profiel

Wij zoeken een kandidaat die zich herkent in het volgende:

  • Bachelor diploma of secundair onderwijs met sterke interesse in IT (netwerken, hardware, besturingssystemen)
  • 2 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring (bijv. Service Desk of gelijkaardige operatorrol)
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en sterk analytisch denkvermogen
  • Proactief in het zoeken naar oplossingen en nemen van initiatief
  • Servicegericht, communicatief vaardig en nauwkeurig
  • Discreet en betrouwbaar in het omgaan met gevoelige informatie
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en stressbestendig
  • Bereidheid om te werken in een shiftensysteem
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels
  • Kennis Servicenow, Autosys of MonitorNow zijn een grote plus
