Als Servicemonteur Elektrotechniek zorg je ervoor dat elektrotechnische installaties op locatie in goede conditie blijven. Je bent veel zelfstandig onderweg binnen de vaste werkomgeving en krijgt de ruimte om technische werkzaamheden naar eigen inzicht op te pakken. Een groot deel van je werk bestaat uit het controleren en onderhouden van installaties. Je voert inspecties uit, verhelpt storingen en voert reparaties uit wanneer dat nodig is. Kom je tijdens je werkzaamheden een technisch probleem tegen? Dan onderzoek je waar het probleem vandaan komt en zorg je ervoor dat de installatie zo snel mogelijk weer goed functioneert. Ook kleine wijzigingen en verbeteringen aan bestaande installaties behoren tot je werkzaamheden. Naast het uitvoerende werk heb je regelmatig contact met de betrokken partijen op locatie. Je houdt hen op de hoogte van werkzaamheden en denkt mee over technische oplossingen wanneer daar aanleiding toe is. Uiteraard registreer je wat je hebt uitgevoerd en werk je volgens de geldende veiligheids- en kwaliteitseisen. Je draait daarnaast mee in een storingsdienst. Hierdoor kan er ook buiten reguliere werktijden een beroep op je worden gedaan wanneer zich een technische storing voordoet. Een zelfstandige en veelzijdige functie voor een elektrotechnisch monteur die graag storingen oplost, verantwoordelijkheid neemt en zich langdurig wil inzetten voor één vaste technische omgeving.
