Toolstation is een snelgroeiende retailer in professioneel gereedschap en bouwmaterialen. Ons motto is: “Wij helpen vakmensen en serieuze doe-het-zelvers hun klus te klaren.” Dat doen we via onze webshop en een netwerk van shops, met een breed assortiment, lage prijzen en een snelle service.

Onze manier van werken is uniek: klanten worden geholpen aan de verkoopbalie. Ze hoeven niet zelf te zoeken — wij luisteren, denken mee en zorgen ervoor dat ze snel weer aan de slag kunnen. We werken in kleine teams, met korte communicatielijnen en een no-nonsense mentaliteit. Open communicatie, oprechte betrokkenheid en de vraag “Hoe kunnen we helpen?” staan centraal. Je komt terecht in een divers en energiek team waar samenwerken vanzelfsprekend is.

Wat ga je doen?

Bij Toolstation Oostende krijg je als Shopmanager je eigen winkel en team onder je hoede. Je werkt in een kleine, no-nonsense omgeving waar samenwerken, open communicatie en gezond verstand centraal staan. Samen met je team zorg je ervoor dat vakmannen en serieuze doe-het-zelvers elke dag snel en correct geholpen worden.

Als Shopmanager maak jij het verschil voor zowel je klanten als je team. Je krijgt het vertrouwen en de autonomie om je winkel te runnen binnen duidelijke kaders, met ruimte om te groeien en verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.

Je staat in voor de dagelijkse werking van de shop en stuurt een team van 4 à 5 medewerkers aan. Je zorgt voor een vlotte organisatie, van personeelsplanning tot winkelpresentatie, en bewaakt de klantenervaring aan de balie. Daarnaast voer je sollicitatie-, evaluatie- en ontwikkelgesprekken en volg je cijfers, KPI’s en resultaten op, waarbij je bijstuurt waar nodig.

Beschik jij over de volgende Tools?

  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar relevante ervaring in retail, bij voorkeur in een leidinggevende rol;
  • Je bent een coachende leider die mensen weet te motiveren én resultaten behaalt;
  • Je volgt cijfers, KPI’s en resultaten op, en stuurt bij waar nodig;
  • Je haalt voldoening uit het aansturen, begeleiden en ontwikkelen van medewerkers;
  • Je voert sollicitatie-, evaluatie- en ontwikkelgesprekken;
  • Je communiceert duidelijk, professioneel en transparant;
  • Je bewaart rust en overzicht, ook tijdens drukke momenten;
  • Je kan verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor de dagelijkse werking, van personeelsplanning tot winkelpresentatie;
  • Je handelt correct, betrouwbaar en volgens procedures;
  • Je waakt over veiligheid, kwaliteit, orde en netheid in de shop;
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt vloeiend Nederlands;
  • Je bent voltijds beschikbaar en flexibel inzetbaar binnen de openingsuren (07.30 - 17.30), inclusief zaterdagen (08.00 - 17.00)
