Bij AMPLIFINO bouwen we softwareproducten die mee vormgeven aan de energietoekomst van morgen. Met onze technologie en data-intelligentie ontwikkelen we betrouwbare forecasting-oplossingen voor de productie van hernieuwbare energie (wind en zon), actief in verschillende landen. Zo helpen we projectontwikkelaars, netbeheerders en energiehandelaars om betere beslissingen te nemen en duurzame energie optimaal te integreren.

Om onze verdere groei te ondersteunen, zijn we op zoek naar een Software Engineer die wil meebouwen aan onze forecastingproducten en energiegedreven software-oplossingen.

Jouw rol

Als Software Engineer maak je deel uit van een cross-functioneel squad team waarin je samenwerkt met squad leads, analisten, developers en data scientists. Je bouwt mee aan robuuste, schaalbare software die dagelijks wordt ingezet in complexe energiecontexten.

Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt backend-services in Java en Python, waarbij je werkt met microservices en API’s. Je integreert verschillende datastromen — zoals meterdata, weersgegevens en netwerktopologie — in een performante forecasting-architectuur. Daarbij besteed je veel aandacht aan codekwaliteit, testbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid.

Je denkt actief mee over systeemarchitectuur en ontwerpt oplossingen die schaalbaar en stabiel zijn, met oog voor performance, foutafhandeling, logging en monitoring. Daarnaast werk je aan data pipelines en ETL-processen en lever je technische input voor de product roadmap. Je neemt deel aan sprintplanningen, code reviews en retrospectives, en draagt zo bij aan de continue verbetering van onze producten en manier van werken.

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt minstens drie jaar ervaring als backend software engineer en werkt vlot met Java en/of Python. Je hebt ervaring met het bouwen van schaalbare services, bijvoorbeeld via microservices, REST API’s of event-driven architecturen. Data-integratie en -verwerking zijn voor jou geen onbekend terrein, zeker niet binnen een context met diverse (energie)databronnen.

Je werkt volgens best practices zoals test-driven development, continuous integration en geautomatiseerde testen. Basiskennis van forecasting, tijdreeksdata of wiskundige modellen is mooi meegenomen — of je staat open om je hierin verder te verdiepen. Ervaring met cloudplatformen (AWS, Azure of GCP) en met relationele en/of NoSQL-databases is een plus.

Je communiceert helder, ook naar niet-technische stakeholders, en werkt zelfstandig, proactief en kritisch. Je denkt graag mee, neemt ownership en wil impact maken met je code.
