Een moderne, levendige bistro waar goede producten, mooie smaken en oprechte gastvrijheid centraal staan. Geen stijve fine dining, maar toegankelijk en eigentijds koken op hoog niveau.Onze keuken heeft internationale invloeden. Op de kaart vind je gerechten om samen te delen, klassiekers met een Jean-twist en mooie producten zoals kreeft uit ons hommarium, dry-aged vlees, verse vis en kaviaar.Om ons keukenteam verder te versterken zoeken wij een enthousiaste en gedreven:Sous ChefAls Sous Chef ben je de rechterhand van de Chef Kok en speel je een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse aansturing van de keuken. Je werkt actief mee tijdens de service, bewaakt de kwaliteit en zorgt er samen met het team voor dat iedere gast gerechten krijgt waar we trots op zijn.Je houdt van koken, maar vindt het minstens zo belangrijk om een team mee te nemen, collega's te begeleiden en samen iedere dag een goede service neer te zetten.Wat ga je doen? • Samen met de Chef Kok zorg je voor de dagelijkse aansturing van de keuken; • Je werkt actief mee tijdens lunch, diner en mise-en-place; • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, smaak en presentatie van onze gerechten; • Je begeleidt en motiveert collega's en leerlingen in de keuken; • Je denkt mee over nieuwe gerechten, specials en de verdere ontwikkeling van Bistro Jean; • Je bewaakt samen met de Chef Kok de voorraad, bestellingen, hygiëne en HACCP; • Bij afwezigheid van de Chef Kok neem je de leiding in de keuken over.Wie zoeken wij?We zoeken vooral iemand met passie voor het vak en zin om samen met ons verder te bouwen aan Bistro Jean.Je hebt ervaring als Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef of bent een ervaren zelfstandig werkend kok die klaar is voor de volgende stap.
