Beschrijving Jouw ingrediënten: Alles begint met een passie voor koken. Kennis daarin heb je opgedaan via werk en een opleiding. Dit combineer je met doorzettingsvermogen. Je wil met jouw ervaring ons keuken niveau naar een nog hoger level brengen. Daarnaast: - Neem je initiatief, ben je besluitvaardig en heb je ervaring met leidinggeven; - Volg je culinaire trends en gaat je hart sneller kloppen bij het brainstormen over de nieuwe menukaart en de stijl van onze restaurant; - Heb je een open houding en hou je van afwisselende werkzaamheden in onze keuken; - Ben je enthousiast, gemotiveerd en werk je goed in teamverband. Het recept: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren en organiseren van de werkzaamheden in de keuken. Dit doe je door: - Samen met onze chef-kok en onze drie souschefs het keukenteam van 30 medewerkers, leerlingen en stagiaires aan te sturen; - Je creativiteit in te zetten bij het ontwikkelen van de nieuwe menukaart; - Je kennis van de nieuwe technieken te gebruiken; - De kwaliteit van gerechten te bewaken en te controleren; - Elke dag goed voorbereid te zijn; - Je team te motiveren; - Het ondersteunen van de chef-kok m.b.t bestellingen. Onze keuken In onze grote moderne keuken werk je met de nieuwste apparatuur. Ons a la carte restaurant heeft 300 zitplaatsen en het hotel heeft ook een live cooking restaurant met gemiddeld plek voor zo'n 200 gasten. Op een avond werk je al gauw met ca. 10 koks samen. Werken bij Van der Valk betekent dat je er in één klap heel veel leuke nieuwe collega's bij krijgt. Het team bestaat uit collega's met al jaren ervaring terwijl sommige net om de hoek komen kijken.
