Je maakt deel uit van de afdeling Mens, een afdeling die instaat voor een brede dienstverlening aan inwoners en verenigingen.

Hieronder vallen onder meer de diensten Burgerzaken, Vrije Tijd, Onderwijs en Buurtwerking, Evenementen, WZC Ter Biest, LDC & GAW Ter Borre en het Sociaal Huis.

Als stafmedewerker Mens ben jij de verbindende schakel tussen deze diensten en het afdelingshoofd Mens.

Je ondersteunt complexe dossiers, volgt regelgeving op, bewaakt de kwaliteit van besluitvorming en helpt projecten op een gestructureerde manier vooruit.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket

  • Je bent de rechterhand van het afdelingshoofd Mens.
  • Je duikt in administratieve en juridische dossiers en zorgt dat alles klopt.
  • Je volgt wetgeving op en vertaalt die mee naar duidelijke afspraken en procedures.
  • Je leest dossiers kritisch na en hebt oog voor kwaliteit en detail.
  • Je bekijkt dossiers met een dienstoverschrijdende blik en stemt af met collega's en diensten binnen én buiten de afdeling Mens.
  • Je helpt bij de voorbereiding van dossiers voor het college, het vast bureau en andere beleidsorganen.
  • Je werkt mee aan adviezen, nota's en beleidsvoorstellen.
  • Je ondersteunt projecten en bewaakt planning, structuur en opvolging.
  • Je denkt mee na over hoe processen en dienstverlening nog beter kunnen.

Profiel

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die graag grondig en gestructureerd werkt, maar ook onder tijdsdruk het hoofd koel houdt en vlot schakelt wanneer deadlines naderen.

Je bent iemand die...

  • graag structuur brengt in complexe dossiers en houdt van orde in zijn werk;
  • documenten kritisch naleest en snel ziet wanneer iets ontbreekt of niet klopt;
  • zich vastbijt in regelgeving en ingewikkelde vraagstukken;
  • veel informatie kan verwerken en vlot de essentie eruit haalt;
  • helder schrijft en gemakkelijk communiceert met collega's, leidinggevenden en partners;
  • diplomatisch omgaat met verschillende belangen en standpunten;
  • mensen weet te overtuigen met doordachte argumenten;
  • kwaliteit belangrijk vindt, grondig werkt én stressbestendig blijft wanneer deadlines naderen;
  • vertrouwd is met projectmatig werken;
  • zelfstandig werkt, maar altijd aandacht heeft voor het grotere geheel.

Toelatingsvoorwaarden

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma.
  • Je hebt een wettig verblijf in België en een algemene toegang tot de Belgische arbeidsmarkt.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands (minstens CVO-niveau 4.2).
