Om de verdere groei van het supportteam te ondersteunen, zoeken we een Support Engineer (2de lijn).

Wat doe je?

Jij bent de schakel tussen de servicedesk en de klant. Wanneer een technisch probleem niet opgelost raakt in de 1ste lijn, neem jij het dossier over. Je analyseert de oorzaak van complexe IT-problemen en werkt doelgericht toe naar een duurzame oplossing.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • incidenten en technische storingen onderzoekt en oplost, zowel vanop afstand als ter plaatse bij de klant;
  • diepgaand troubleshoot binnen Windows-omgevingen, Microsoft 365, netwerken en servers;
  • samenwerkt met de 1ste lijn en collega's met gespecialiseerde expertise wanneer een issue verdere escalatie vraagt;
  • klanten begeleidt bij technische vragen en zorgt voor een duidelijke en professionele communicatie;
  • terugkerende problemen signaleert en meedenkt over structurele verbeteringen;
  • configuraties uitvoert en wijzigingen implementeert binnen bestaande IT-omgevingen;
  • je interventies zorgvuldig documenteert in het ticketsysteem.

Geen dag is dezelfde. De ene keer los je een complexe netwerkstoring op, de andere keer herstel je een serverprobleem of help je een klant opnieuw operationeel te worden.

Welke competenties neem je mee?

  • Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring binnen een IT-supportomgeving in een 2de lijnsfunctie of als support engineer. Je beschikt over een IT-gerelateerd diploma of gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van: Windows Server en Windows Client; Active Directory; Microsoft 365; Microsoft Azure; virtualisatie (Hyper-V of VMware); netwerken (LAN, WAN, VLAN); back-up- en beveiligingsoplossingen.
  • Je houdt ervan om technische problemen te analyseren en uit te pluizen tot je de juiste oplossing gevonden hebt.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en houdt het hoofd koel wanneer de druk toeneemt.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands. Kennis van andere talen is mooi meegenomen.
