The posting

De Sustainability Expert werkt mee aan het ontwerp en de implementatie van duurzaamheidsstrategieën. Deze persoon zorgt voor het effectief communiceren van de duurzaamheidsvisie en de naleving van de toepasselijke regelgeving. De duurzaamheidsexpert heeft een coördinerende rol en werkt samen met andere afdelingen zoals HR, operations, milieu, marketing en anderen.

Strategie, governance & compliance

  • Vertalen van duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen naar een geïntegreerde en uitvoerbare duurzaamheidsstrategie voor Ciner Glass Belgium
  • Bewaken van de volledige naleving van lokale, Europese en internationale duurzaamheidsregelgeving (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD)
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van externe certificeringen en ratings zoals B Corp, Responsible Glass, EcoVadis en Science Based Targets
  • Signaleren van duurzaamheidsgerelateerde risico’s en opportuniteiten en deze helder en onderbouwd communiceren naar het senior management
  • Adviseren van management bij strategische beslissingen met impact op ESG en duurzaamheid

Data, impact & rapportering

  • Verzamelen, structureren en analyseren van data rond energie, water, afvalstromen en CO₂-uitstoot
  • Opzetten en beheren van robuuste processen voor dataverzameling en rapportering in lijn met wettelijke vereisten en auditstandaarden
  • Transparant rapporteren over duurzaamheidsresultaten via interne rapporten, presentaties en externe duurzaamheidsverslagen
  • Onderbouwen van duurzaamheidsinitiatieven met meetbare KPI’s en impactanalyses

Projectcoördinatie, samenwerking & verankering

  • Vertalen van duurzaamheidsambities naar concrete acties, technische oplossingen en projecten met meetbare en impactvolle resultaten
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van duurzaamheidsprojecten binnen een nieuwe, hypermoderne productiesite
  • Intensief samenwerken met HR, Operations, HSE, Communicatie en internationale collega’s binnen de Ciner Glass Group om duurzaamheid organisatiebreed te verankeren
  • Opleiden en sensibiliseren van collega’s rond duurzaam denken en best practices
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke relaties met interne en externe stakeholders
  • Je rapporteert aan de Corporate Affairs Manager.
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen duurzaamheid, ESG of milieumanagement, met een sterke focus op projectmanagement
  • Diepgaande kennis van duurzaamheidsprincipes, milieuwetgeving, energie-efficiëntie, circulaire economie, duurzame technologieën en ESG-rapportering
  • Ervaring met duurzaamheidsrapportering, audits en certificeringstrajecten is een duidelijke meerwaarde
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Een proactieve, oplossingsgerichte mindset en de maturiteit om te werken in een snelgroeiende, technisch complexe omgeving
  • Motivatie om mee te bouwen aan een fonkelnieuwe site waar processen en structuren nog in volle ontwikkeling zijn
