Start People zoekt voor Stad Gent een Teamcoach Staf / Chief of Staff die een team van acht medewerkers aanstuurt, complexe dossiers coördineert en het departementshoofd ondersteunt bij de dagelijkse werking en beleidsmatige vraagstukken.

Functie-inhoud

  • Coördineren van de werking van het team Staf op inhoudelijk, methodisch en organisatorisch vlak.
  • Leidinggeven aan, coachen en begeleiden van een team van ongeveer acht medewerkers met verschillende expertises.
  • Het departementshoofd ondersteunen in haar taken en verantwoordelijkheden als hoofd van het departement.
  • De continuïteit van de dienstverlening aan het departementshoofd bewaken en zorgen voor een efficiënte administratieve ondersteuning binnen het departement.
  • Medewerkers begeleiden bij het behandelen, uitvoeren en opvolgen van inhoudelijk en organisatorisch complexe opdrachten, dossiers en projecten.
  • Het overkoepelend overzicht binnen het team bewaren, prioriteiten bepalen en de verschillende opdrachten en werkzaamheden op elkaar afstemmen.
  • Fungeren als eerste aanspreekpunt voor materies die niet specifiek aan een andere medewerker zijn toegewezen en optreden als spelverdeler binnen het team.
  • Instaan voor kwaliteitscontroles en ervoor zorgen dat procedures en rapporteringsdocumenten beschikbaar zijn en correct worden toegepast.
  • Het departementshoofd adviseren over complexe vraagstukken en uitdagingen op basis van analyses, eigen inschattingen en overleg met relevante stakeholders.
  • Een actieve rol opnemen in het directieteam, het schepenoverleg en het vakbondsoverleg.
  • De inhoudelijke en praktische voorbereiding van overlegmomenten verzorgen en de opvolging van gemaakte afspraken en Governance bewaken.
  • De coördinatie en opvolging ondersteunen van departementale beleidsopdrachten, preventie, veiligheid en welzijn, communicatie, IT, het FM-beleidsplan en opdrachten in het kader van SKO.
  • Zorgen voor samenhang, structuur en een goede samenwerking tussen de verschillende expertises en opdrachten binnen het departement.
  • Beschikt over Masterdiploma
  • Sterke leidinggevende en coachende vaardigheden om medewerkers aan te sturen en te motiveren.
  • Sterk organisatorisch en analytisch inzicht, met een helikoptervisie over complexe dossiers en projecten.
  • In staat om prioriteiten te bepalen, verbanden te leggen en het departementshoofd onderbouwd te adviseren.
  • Sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden, diplomatisch en assertief in de samenwerking met stakeholders.
  • Ervaring met coördinatie, procesbewaking, kwaliteitscontroles en rapportering.
  • Zelfstandig, proactief, besluitvaardig, discreet en stressbestendig.
  • Een betrouwbare sparringpartner voor het departementshoofd, met oog voor samenwerking en het bewaken van afspraken en verantwoordelijkheden.
  • Perfecte kennis Nederlands (zowel schriftelijk als mondeling).
