The posting

Onze klant is een flexibele KMO in de regio rond Kontich, gespecialiseerd in dringende en ad-hoc transportoplossingen. Met een wagenpark van een 100-tal voertuigen zorgen zij ervoor dat goederen altijd snel en stipt op hun bestemming geraken. Je komt terecht in een no-nonsense werkomgeving met korte lijnen en een hecht team waar collegialiteit en een goede sfeer voorop staan.

In deze rol als Teamlead Transport & Planning neem je de dagelijkse leiding over het planningsteam en het chauffeurs team op de baan. Je springt zelf actief bij in de ad-hoc dispatching, brengt structuur in een snel veranderende planning en bent het aanspreekpunt voor jouw collega's op kantoor. Samen met het management bouw je mee aan de verdere digitalisering en groei van de afdeling.

Functieomschrijving

  • Het aansturen, coachen en motiveren van de planners en de chauffeurs op de baan.
  • Het opmaken van de dagelijkse planning voor dringende ritten, voertuigen en chauffeurs in een continu veranderende omgeving.
  • Het onderhouden van vlot contact met klanten over prijzen, transportmogelijkheden en de opvolging van hun dringende bestellingen.
  • Het verwerken van de nodige administratie en het ondersteunen van de overgang naar een nieuw digitaal planningssysteem.
  • Het opnemen van de avondpermanentie wanneer je de late shift werkt, zodat dringende vragen ook dan opgevangen worden.

Profiel

  • Je hebt ervaring binnen transport, dispatch of ad-hoc planning en je kan een team aansturen en inspireren.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en wendbaar, want een planning die 's morgens vaststaat kan een uur later helemaal anders zijn.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels om vlot te communiceren met de internationale chauffeurs.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in shiften (starten om 5u, 7u, 8u of 11u) en neemt de avondpermanentie op bij de late shift.
