Onze klant, gespecialiseerd in de productie van distributieriemen en hydraulische slangen, is volop in groei! Het moderne distributiecentrum in de haven van Gent is de thuisbasis van meer dan 100 gemotiveerde medewerkers.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een geboren people manager? Haal je energie uit het aansturen van een team? En wil je mee het verschil maken in een groot distributiecentrum? Dan is deze functie in Desteldonk precies wat je zoekt.

Als Teamleader sta je in voor de dagelijkse aansturing van een ploeg binnen het distributiecentrum. In deze rol combineer je operationele coördinatie met het coachen en ontwikkelen van je team, waarbij veiligheid, efficiëntie en samenwerking centraal staan.

  • Organiseren en opvolgen van de dagelijkse taakverdeling, prioriteiten en rotatie binnen het team.
  • Briefen van medewerkers en zorgen voor een correcte shift-overdracht.
  • Toezien op veiligheid, kwaliteit en productiviteit op de werkvloer.
  • Registreren en opvolgen van operationele activiteiten in SAP.
  • Actief meedenken over optimalisaties en verbeteringen in de werking.
  • Coachen, motiveren en begeleiden van medewerkers.
  • Opvolgen van afwezigheden en onderhouden van afstemming met interne diensten (HR, HSE, supervisie).
  • Beheren van de skillmatrix, organiseren van opleidingen en voeren van evaluatiegesprekken.
  • Bewaken van een positieve teamsfeer en tijdig ingrijpen bij knelpunten.
  • Indien nodig operationeel meewerken in het magazijn.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring binnen een logistieke of andere dynamische operationele omgeving.
  • Eerste ervaring in people management of klaar om hierin een volgende stap te zetten.
  • Ervaring met SAP is een sterke plus.
  • Duidelijke, consequente en positieve communicatiestijl met natuurlijk leiderschap.
  • Sterk veiligheidsbewust en voorbeeldgedrag op de werkvloer.
  • Oplossingsgericht, stressbestendig en gestructureerd, ook tijdens piekmomenten.
  • Zeer goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk).
  • Bereidheid om te werken in een roterend tweeploegensysteem.
