Je komt terecht bij een stabiel familiebedrijf in de metaalsector, gespecialiseerd in vrachtwagens en trailers. Je werkt in een hecht team waar vakkennis, degelijk werk en samenwerking belangrijk zijn. Je krijgt begeleiding en de kans om je verder te ontwikkelen via interne en externe opleidingen.

Jobomschrijving

Als technieker sta je in voor het onderhoud, de herstellingen en de montage van technische systemen op opleggers en trailers. Je takenpakket is gevarieerd:

  • Onderhoud uitvoeren aan compressoren en pompsystemen.
  • Blaasbulk- en Redler- of vijzel-lossystemen onderhouden en herstellen.
  • Schade en defecten aan trailers herstellen, onder andere na ongevallen.
  • Pompen en compressoren monteren.
  • Laswerken uitvoeren aan chassis en opbouw, afhankelijk van je ervaring.
  • De werking van opleggers na een interventie volledig testen.
  • Controleren of alle systemen correct functioneren.
  • Eventueel meehelpen aan de afwerking van nieuwe opleggers.
  • Toebehoren monteren en functionaliteit controleren via verschillende testen.

Je werkt dus niet elke dag aan hetzelfde. De ene keer voer je onderhoud uit, de andere keer zoek je een technisch probleem uit of zorg je ervoor dat een trailer opnieuw correct functioneert.

We zoeken vooral iemand die technisch inzicht combineert met een praktische ingesteldheid.

  • Je hebt ervaring in een herstellingsdienst, bijvoorbeeld binnen de automotive, vrachtwagens, trailers of machinebouw.
  • Een technisch diploma is mooi meegenomen, maar relevante ervaring kan zeker volstaan.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van hydrauliek en pneumatiek.
  • Ervaring met lassen is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt nauwgezet en controleert je eigen werk.
  • Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en denkt in oplossingen.
  • Je bent bereid om nieuwe technieken te leren.
  • Ervaring met trailerconstructie is een voordeel, maar geen absolute vereiste.
  • Ook als je ervaring hebt als vrachtwagentechnieker, automecanicien, onderhoudstechnieker of mechanisch monteur, kan deze functie een interessante volgende stap zijn.
