Wil jij als Technisch Teamlead een sleutelrol opnemen in de haven waar techniek en logistiek samenkomen?

Je komt terecht in een logistieke speler actief in de regio van het Gentse havengebied. Op deze site worden grondstoffen zoals mineralen, granen en meststoffen verwerkt via schepen, lichters en vrachtwagens. De werking is direct en praktijkgericht, met focus op continuïteit en veiligheid.

Als Technisch Teamlead werk je op de kaai en in de loodsen en zorg je samen met operations voor een vlotte goederenstroom.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Technisch Teamlead stuur je dagelijks een team van 15 à 20 dokwerkers aan en volg je de planning op
  • Daarnaast zorg je voor de correcte opstelling en werking van transportbanden zodat de logistieke flow efficiënt blijft
  • Binnen jouw rol voer je eerstelijns interventies uit bij storingen op mechanisch vlak zoals lagers, kranen en transportbanden
  • Verder stem je af met de Operations Manager en schakel je onderhoud in waar nodig
  • Tot slot behoud je het overzicht over de volledige site en stuur je bij zonder zelf laad- en losactiviteiten uit te voeren
  • Een technische achtergrond, bij voorkeur mechanisch, vormt de basis voor deze rol als Technisch Teamlead
  • Daarnaast volstaat een eerste werkervaring; ook juniors komen in aanmerking
  • Bovendien combineer je een hands-on aanpak met verantwoordelijkheid en neem je ownership op de werkvloer
  • Tot slot beheers je het Nederlands vlot omwille van de veiligheid, aangevuld met kennis van Engels en Frans is een plus
