We zoeken een toezichthouder parking voor een opdracht van 10/38.

Jouw functie

Als parkingwachter sta je in voor een veilig, ordelijk en vlot verloop van het collectief leerlingenvervoer bij het aankomen en vertrekken van onze leerlingen.

Je bent aanwezig op de parking tijdens de drukste momenten van de schooldag en vormt daarbij een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor chauffeurs en begeleiders.

Je werkt dagelijks op twee vaste momenten van maandag t.e.m. vrijdag:

  • 's morgens: 7.45 uur – 8.45 uur
  • 's namiddags: 15.45 uur – 16.45 uur
  • Op woensdag: 's morgens 7.45uur-8.45uur 's middags 12.45uur-13.45 uur
  • Locatie: parking, schoolstraat 24 A, 9320 Nieuwerkerken

Jouw taken

  • Je houdt toezicht op de parking tijdens de aankomst en het vertrek van de leerlingen.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een veilige en vlotte verkeerscirculatie op de schoolparking.
  • Je begeleidt chauffeurs bij het oprijden, parkeren en verlaten van de parking.
  • Je ziet erop toe dat de schoolbussen en andere voertuigen correct en veilig worden opgesteld.
  • Je houdt toezicht op de leerlingen die aankomen of vertrekken en waakt erover dat zij zich op een veilige manier tussen de voertuigen bewegen.
  • Je voorkomt gevaarlijke situaties, bijvoorbeeld bij het manoeuvreren van voertuigen.
  • Je ziet toe op het naleven van de gemaakte afspraken rond het gebruik van de parking en het collectief leerlingenvervoer.
  • Je signaleert onveilige situaties, incidenten, schade of andere problemen aan de verantwoordelijke van de school.
  • Je draagt bij aan een rustige, ordelijke en veilige start en afsluiting van de schooldag.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken iemand die:

  • verantwoordelijk en alert is;
  • graag buiten werkt en zich niet laat afschrikken door verschillende weersomstandigheden;
  • rustig en duidelijk kan communiceren;
  • stevig maar respectvol kan optreden;
  • vlot kan omgaan met jongeren;
  • oog heeft voor verkeersveiligheid en mogelijke risico's;
  • zelfstandig kan werken en tegelijkertijd goed kan samenwerken met het schoolteam;
  • stipt en betrouwbaar is;
  • snel kan inschatten wanneer een situatie extra aandacht of tussenkomst vraagt.

Ervaring binnen het onderwijs, met leerlingenvervoer of verkeersveiligheid is een pluspunt, maar geen absolute vereiste. Een verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel, een alerte houding en een goede omgang met jongeren vinden we minstens even belangrijk.
