Doel van de functie

De Travel Designer Wijnreizen is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, organiseren en verkopen van hoogwaardige wijn- en gastronomiegerelateerde groepsreizen. De functiehouder creëert unieke reiservaringen rond wijncultuur, gastronomie en lokale tradities, met bijzondere aandacht voor kwaliteit, authenticiteit en klantbeleving.

Kerntaken en verantwoordelijkheden Ontwikkeling van wijnreizen

  • Ontwerpen en samenstellen van exclusieve wijn- en gastronomieprogramma's voor groepen.
  • Selecteren van wijnregio's, wijnhuizen, gastronomische adressen en culturele activiteiten.
  • Uitwerken van originele en onderscheidende reisconcepten afgestemd op diverse doelgroepen.
  • Regelmatig bezoeken van bestemmingen en leveranciers om kwaliteit en authenticiteit te waarborgen.
  • Opvolgen van trends binnen wijn-, gastronomie- en belevingstoerisme.

Relatiebeheer met partners

  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van duurzame relaties met wijnproducenten, domeinen, lokale gidsen, hotels en andere partners.
  • Onderhandelen over tarieven, voorwaarden en exclusieve samenwerkingen.
  • Evalueren van leveranciers op basis van kwaliteit, service en klanttevredenheid.

Verkoop en klantenadvies

  • Adviseren van klanten over bestemmingen, wijnregio's, programma's en reisopties.
  • Opstellen van offertes en reisvoorstellen op maat.
  • Actief opvolgen van commerciële opportuniteiten.
  • Organiseren van informatieavonden, webinars en presentaties over wijnreizen.

Operationele organisatie

  • Coördineren van alle praktische aspecten van de reizen.
  • Opvolgen van reservaties, transport, accommodaties, bezoeken en degustaties.
  • Voorbereiden van reisdossiers en reizigersinformatie.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor klanten vóór, tijdens en na de reis.

Kwaliteits- en productbeheer

  • Evalueren van reiservaringen aan de hand van klantfeedback.
  • Continu optimaliseren van bestaande programma's.
  • Bewaken van rendabiliteit, kwaliteit en klanttevredenheid.
  • Ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten en bestemmingen binnen het segment wijn- en culinaire reizen.

Kennis

  • Goede kennis van internationale wijnregio's en wijnculturen.
  • Kennis van toeristische producten en groepsreizen.
  • Ervaring met reservatie- en CRM-systemen.
  • Inzicht in kostprijsberekeningen en productontwikkeling.

Profiel Opleiding en ervaring

  • Aantoonbare affiniteit met wijn, gastronomie en culinaire beleving.
  • Wijnopleiding (WSET, Weinakademiker, Vinoloog of gelijkwaardig) is een sterke troef.
