The posting

Als Site Utility Manager ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor het betrouwbaar, efficiënt en veilig functioneren van alle technische nutsvoorzieningen op de site. Je geeft leiding aan de Utility-afdeling, bepaalt de langetermijnkoers en zorgt dat het team en de installaties klaar zijn voor de uitdagingen van een snel evoluerende, high-performance productieomgeving. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Plant Director.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

1) Strategisch & operationeel leiderschap

  • Aansturen van de Utility-afdeling en uitwerken van een toekomstgerichte visie, in lijn met site- en bedrijfsdoelstellingen.
  • Vertalen van bedrijfsnoden naar technische acties, verbeterprogramma’s en meerjarenplannen.
  • Beheren van het onderhouds- en utilitybudget, met focus op kostenbeheersing en performance.

2) Utilities & onderhoudsmanagement

  • Garanderen van een ononderbroken levering van alle nutsvoorzieningen (onder alle omstandigheden).
  • Opvolgen van verbruik en initiëren van acties rond energie- en efficiëntieverbeteringen.
  • Trekker zijn van productiviteits- en optimalisatieprojecten binnen de utility-domeinen en continu verbeteren verankeren.

3) People management & ontwikkeling

  • Leiden en ontwikkelen van multidisciplinaire teams (o.a. supervisors, procesverantwoordelijken, techniekers, coördinatie en support).
  • Competenties en expertise uitbouwen zodat het team meegroeit met de toekomstige noden van de site.
  • Motiveren en coachen op de werkvloer door zichtbaarheid, betrokkenheid en duidelijke richting.

4) Samenwerking & stakeholdermanagement

  • Nauw samenwerken met o.a. Safety, Quality, Production, Finance en HR.
  • Afstemmen met leveranciers, consultants en externe partners.
  • Duidelijke updates en roadmaps presenteren aan het Plant Leadership Team.

Resultaat dat je neerzet:

  • Stabiele, veilige en betrouwbare utility-operaties, elke dag opnieuw.
  • Actieve bijdrage aan technische site-strategieën (maintenance, energie, automatisatie, CAPEX).
  • Borging van middelen, kennis en capaciteit om de langetermijnvisie waar te maken.
  • Masterdiploma in Engineering of een relevante technische richting.
  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring binnen utilities/engineering/maintenance/production/automation in een complexe industriële context (ervaring op grote site is een plus).
  • Sterk technisch en analytisch inzicht: je schakelt vlot tussen visie en uitvoering.
  • Interesse in nieuwe technologieën en innovatie.
  • Ervaring in het leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen van technische teams.
  • Procesmatig ingesteld en sterk in samenwerken over afdelingen heen.
  • Degelijke projectmanagementskills (plannen, prioriteren, opvolgen).
  • Sterke communicatievaardigheden, met impact op alle niveaus.
  • Track record in continuous improvement/operational excellence is een duidelijke troef.
