Wil jij jouw technische expertise inzetten om utilities, infrastructuur en investeringsprojecten binnen een internationale productieomgeving naar een hoger niveau te tillen? Dan is deze uitdaging iets voor jou!

In regio Gent kom je terecht bij een internationale productiespeler die kwalitatieve producten maakt en sterk inzet op efficiënte processen, performante installaties en continue verbetering. Ondanks de internationale schaal blijft de sfeer toegankelijk en familiaal, met korte communicatielijnen en veel ruimte voor initiatief.

Binnen deze functie werk je nauw samen met de Technisch Manager, aan wie je ook rapporteert. Je neemt ownership over utilities, technische projecten en infrastructuurverbeteringen binnen verschillende productieomgevingen, met focus op betrouwbaarheid, energie-efficiëntie en toekomstgerichte installaties.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Utilities Engineer werk je projecten uit rond utilities, koeling en technische infrastructuur, van scope, budget en planning tot oplevering
  • Vanuit jouw expertise optimaliseer je nutsvoorzieningen zoals koelinstallaties, perslucht, waterbehandeling, HVAC en andere technische installaties
  • Samen met lokale technische teams ondersteun je complexe storingen, voer je _oot cause analyses uit en werk je structurele oplossingen uit
  • Je coördineert contractors, leveranciers en interne stakeholders en zorgt ervoor dat projecten tijdig, kwalitatief en binnen budget worden opgeleverd
  • Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat technische informatie goed wordt bijgehouden, onderhoudsafspraken duidelijk zijn en kennis vlot gedeeld wordt tussen de verschillende sites
  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Energietechnologie of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Daarnaast heb je 5+ jaar ervaring binnen utilities, maintenance engineering of project engineering binnen een industriële productieomgeving
  • Je bent bereid om tot een kwart van je tijd te reizen naar Europese productiesites
  • Ten slotte communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
