Als begeleider bied je nabijheid, structuur en ondersteuning aan bewoners die tijdelijk crisis- of observatiezorg nodig hebben. Je bouwt een professionele en betrouwbare ondersteuningsrelatie op en kijkt samen met bewoners, verwanten en collega's naar wat er achter bepaald gedrag schuilgaat. Door goed te observeren, breng je in kaart welke omstandigheden bijdragen aan rust, veiligheid en kwaliteit van leven.

Je ondersteunt bewoners bij het opnieuw krijgen van grip op hun dagelijks leven en denkt mee over passende vervolgzorg. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met begeleiders, gedragsdeskundigen en andere betrokken disciplines.

Wanneer de spanning oploopt, blijf jij beschikbaar, voorspelbaar en rustig. Je begrijpt dat gedrag vaak een uiting kan zijn van stress, onzekerheid of onvervulde behoeften. Juist op die momenten blijf je zoeken naar wat iemand nodig heeft en welke ondersteuning kan helpen om weer rust en veiligheid te creëren.

Zijn er tijdelijk geen crisisopnames? Dan ondersteun je samen met je collega's op locatie BBLweg 4 in Assen, waar ook de crisisgang is gevestigd. Zo blijf je van betekenis voor bewoners en collega's en blijft je werk afwisselend en dynamisch.
