The posting

In deze rol als Veiligheidscoördinator Haven werk je mee aan het uitbouwen en versterken van het veiligheidsbeleid over verschillende business units heen binnen een internationale maritieme omgeving.

Concreet zal je:

actief samenwerken met interne stakeholders om H&S gerelateerde projecten en operaties te toetsen aan EU en lokale wetgeving; wijzigingen in wetgeving opvolgen en operations en management op groepsniveau informeren over relevante ontwikkelingen; H&S documentatie beheren en interne databases up-to-date houden; inkomende incident reports opvolgen, actualiseren en structureren; data verzamelen voor reporting en analyses binnen het safety management systeem; ondersteunen bij de uitwerking, implementatie en verbetering van H&S policies en programma's; meehelpen bij HS-activiteiten zoals internal audits en lokale workshops; regelmatig educatieve seminars en webinars voorbereiden en organiseren rond safety training en procedures; procesknelpunten identificeren en gerichte oplossingen voorstellen; ondersteunen bij de uitvoering van risk assessments op operaties en processen; samen met HR een nieuwe onboarding voor veiligheid opzetten voor nieuwe medewerkers; meewerken aan ad hoc projecten binnen het Health & Safety domein.

Je hebt aantoonbare hands-on ervaring in een gelijkaardige rol binnen H&S, veiligheid of occupational health. Je beschikt over een universitair diploma en een H&S-certificering Level 1. Je hebt een stevige kennis van EU regulations en relevante lokale veiligheidswetgeving. Je schrijft vlot, kan goed plannen, prioriteiten stellen en meerdere deadlines tegelijk beheren. Je werkt proactief en beschikt over een sterk businessgericht beoordelingsvermogen. Je communiceert vlot met interne klanten, externe partners en stakeholders, inclusief Senior Management, en werkt graag samen in een internationale, multiculturele context. Je kan zelfstandig werken en voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving met veel autonomie. Je bent vlot in het Engels en Nederlands; andere talen zijn een plus. Je hebt gevorderde kennis van MS Office en bent bereid om regelmatig binnen Europa te reizen.
